Any guesses as what could cause a popping noise when accelerating from 0mph?

Its only when i get moving from a complete stop. There is usually a single popping noise. Theres no multiple pops when turning or anything, just a consistent single popping noise when im accelerating from a dead stop

Just a wild-assed guess here, but it COULD be a worn universal joint or a CV joint that's getting ready to let go. Probably wouldn't hurt to get it checked out by a REAL mechanic before something expensive goes wrong.
