The problem is that people who voted for him thought he knew what he was doing, and he really gave no reason to believe that.

So I looked at the answers and I looked again at the question. One would think that the question could be better worded and that the answers could be better thought out. Most of the answers are vulgar or partisan.Without being politically bias you would need to determine Mr Trumps abilities and if he is well suited for the job. Considering he is no less able then anyone else or any of the prior occupants of the White House. I would have to say that Mr Trump is doing well with what he has to deal with. Rarely does a President do or expect that he can get the things he would like to get done accomplished that's just never going to happen. Presidents have to deal with congress and the constraints of the law. Its not like he can do whatever he wants to do. Even if the media or the other party members cooperate its no guarantee that he will do as he said he wanted to. That's the nature of politics you start with a platform and you say what it is that you want to do and if you get elected you do what you can. Never has been a president that did everything he said he wanted to do once he got in office. your question is just plain silly I dont see Mr Trump giving up he's still the president and he has the best of intentions to serve and protect the constitution and the United States that he took an oath to do
