To liberals and conservative: can't you see you guys want the same thing?

They both want a better life for some of the people, but not the same people.

We are playing something similar to a zero sum game. Actual libs and cons both want society to prosper, but disagree about how to get there. Most people don't have the education or time to find their own answer. Instead, they pick a team, based on one small issue. Then, they accept the cookie cutter response, for everything else. After that, it's the simple matter of forgetting that your personal opinions aren't objective facts.

Many of the people, on Yahoo answers, just want to bully people and feel superior. Libs and cons, on here, who have formed their own thoughts are, by far, the minority.

We do want the best for all, but the trouble is that we want much different things and disagree on the way to have a better life for society. That is why there are so many dissents and altercations between the two very different ideologies.

You're wrong. Liberals and Conservatives really don't want the same thing. A giant hint would be that the two groups have very different names. ...and that we argue all the time.

From another planet? Libs don't have a clue what they want. And conserves at least some idea even though extremist cons may not.

Conservatives and liberals want the opposite -- liberals want a better society for EVERYONE while conservatives want to grab as much money for themselves and sell their constituents on patriotism and religion.

The idea of government managing every aspect of life versus the idea that free people are responsible for their own decisions are incongruent philosophies. LOL

The GOALS may be similar, but the understanding of what policies will lead in that direction are not.

All elections are advance auctions on stolen goods. The winner gets to steal more, or stop already occurring theft. Do you like people who take things from you?
