Is finance a good major for me?

I'm going off to college soon and can't decide on a major. I'm thinking finance, because I'm good at math, and I'm thinking of being a credit counselor, financial advisor, or something like that. I want job security from my degree (why I said **** marketing). I took the ACT for the third time in April and scored a 22 composite with a 25 in math. Also got a 25 rating in stem if that counts for anything. Am I capable of obtaining a finance degree? Are there a lot of jobs with finance? I only plan on a 4 year degree.
