I know a degree isn't required for most sales jobs, but it for sure helps. Would marketing be a waste of my time or should I do something like communications? I'm just really trying to make sure I don't waste my time and money in school

I m going to college next year and I know what I want to do, but I don t know how to get there. I love business! I really just think it s super interesting and I know it s the direction I really want. However, I know that business is overdone because everyone does it. I m really wanting to get into sales, whether it s being a salesman, sales rep, or I would really like to be a sales consultant. And if I don t do those, maybe get into statistics. So what degree should I pursue? I just don t want to waste my time in school and be SOL on finding a job with the philosophy students.

I bought a 2 month old bearded dragon from petland today and I'm trying to feed it commercial food, and it will not eat. I tried moving the food around and everything! Is there anything I can do? When should I be concerned? I don't want this thing to die! It wasn't cheap

Im a 17 year old guy and I don't know why, but I get extremely nervous when talking to people. I can be around a ton of people and feel okay, but something as simple as ordering food makes me really nervous, and I think the cashier can usually tell and it makes them uncomfortable. Like today I bought a backpack for school (Starting my senior year tomorrow woot woot!), and I had to ask the cashier to get it for me from behind the counter and I was so nervous. I don't worry about people judging me and stuff, because honestly I don't know what there is to judge. I mean I take care of myself, I'm healthy weight, I'm 6'2, I wear nice clothes, and I think I'm decent looking (not being arrogant, just making a point). And on top of that, I'm really good at admitting my flaws. I love meeting people, and talking to people when I feel good, but the nervousness just gets the best of me! Somebody help please! I want to be able to enjoy life!

So there's this girl from my church, and she has the biggest crush on me. I think she's attractive and I'm all for dating her but.... my mom really doesn't like her for whatever reason, and my mom always tells me she doesn't like this girl. Like on a daily basis. And I want to stay on my mom's good side, because we already have a lot of problems as it is. This girl has tried so hard to hint that she likes me, and I just play dumb because I don't know what to do. She even said something like "I'm not this happy around anyone else, don't you think that means something?" And of course I had to be like "nah" because I didn't know what else to do. So the problem is that I know this girl is about to tell me she likes me and I don't know how to handle it. We are great friends and I want to keep it that way, help please? I'll award best answer!

I live in a small town with a very small school. There are 30 kids in my class. My only friends live 10 hours away (they moved last year) and the good kids at my school don't like me, while the ones that want me to hang out are the party crowd. I'm against drinking in excess, smoking weed, ect. Because of this I've had to stop hanging out with everyone pretty much and the good kids at my school are all rich and that's what they have in common with the exclusion of me. Then, on top of that, all of the girls at my school are fake as **** and pieces of ****. I also tend to get picked on quite a bit which will hopefully change this year, being my senior year. Literally the only people that like me and i like them are the people in my church youth group and there's like 5 of us. I don't even get along with my family that well. I've got one more year of high school and I'm out this ***** but I just feel really down. I really just need some advice and/or encouragement. Any help? I'm just not happy at all.

Why can't we discuss anything political like adults? We get in heated arguments because we disagree on issues. Being able to disagree is what makes this country great! But it's hard to voice your opinion nowadays without being burned at the stake. Its not one political party or the other. I'm a conservative, and I disagree with pretty much everything liberal, however when I have a discussion with someone about Trump and I say something they disagree with or vice versa, I don't get angry, and it doesn't cause problems between me and that person. Why can't we be civil anymore?

I'm going off to college soon and can't decide on a major. I'm thinking finance, because I'm good at math, and I'm thinking of being a credit counselor, financial advisor, or something like that. I want job security from my degree (why I said **** marketing). I took the ACT for the third time in April and scored a 22 composite with a 25 in math. Also got a 25 rating in stem if that counts for anything. Am I capable of obtaining a finance degree? Are there a lot of jobs with finance? I only plan on a 4 year degree. I've started taking cold showers as I've heard that they are so much healthier for you. Is it okay to take one in the morning to wake my *** up and then one at night to put me to sleep? I have trouble waking up in the morning and falling asleep at night, I'm a bit of a night owl. So how should I go about taking two a day and is it okay?

Guys, what do I do? I'm lonely... My 2 best friends moved away to another state, I'm not allowed to hang out with another friend, and my other close friend seems like he doesn't want to hang out with me anymore. He just bums rides on me. The only people that want to hang out with me, is the party crowd, and I'm not into partying. My best solution is honestly just find a girlfriend but I go to a really small school and options are limited for girls and friends. How can I meet people from other schools to hang out with and girls from other schools without partying?
