If I write a book and hide it for two thousand years, will the people of the future automatically believe its every word?
Maybe fifteen hundred years, at the least, but the more the better.

Sure if........
There are eye witness copies dating from the time you buried it and over 5,000 other copies from different time periods with no significant changes.... and the people who wrote it (YOU) was ruthlessly persecuted and even put to death if you didn't admit your work was faith!
Slightly amusing, trying to be clever but sadly lacking in any real intellect.

Well...that depends on the nature of the book.
Many such books are believed...
- consider, for example, the Babylonian Chronicles
and many such books are not believed
- consider, for example, the Dyskolos by Menander
Excepting with regard to contemporaneity, the number of years a document has been "lost" has little relevance to whether or not an ancient document is believed by experts to be true.

It will be subjected to intensive studies and debates just like the bible. That's the purpose of theology. It's not an established set of beliefs but a critical study of every word. Theology does not promote religion but questions it. It just happens that many theology scholars are convinced that the gospels are truthful testimonies.

Better yet, write dozens of books, and then have other people compile it into one book before proceeding to edit, redact, embellish, mistranslate, and misinterpret it for 2000+ years - then propagate it through fear and ignorance.
