Can a Waffle Cone Iron be used to make Stroopwafels?
I returned from the Netherlands recently and came across a really awesome treat Stroopwafels. I went crazy eating them there and regret not bringing back more. I've been looking up recipes and videos on how it's made and would like to attempt it, but the irons used look close to waffle cone irons (which I already have) that we have in North America, just hoping someone with experience can answer. Thanks!

I'm no expert, but waffle cone irons sure as hell look like they would work. And truly, what do you have to lose? How bad could it possibly be ;) At the very least, you could crumble up the waffles if they don't work right and use them with the caramel filling as ice cream topping!!!
