Since Jesus' death was nullified by his resurrection, he didn't really die. Does that mean that his death was symbolic?

Also, how did he die for our sins if he didn't stay dead? Doesn't his resurrection defeat the purpose of his "dying for our sins?"

Jesus did die! Man declared him dead he served 3 days as dead as required by modern law to nullify a contract! God no longer has to kill us! God's word was dead 3 days that's all it took!

Now your stuck with eternal life you can't get rid of it!

You will be spending that forever either screaming in the fire or enjoying eternal life with God! Furthermore Jesus fleshly body is dead it's gone forever Jesus will never be human again that makes for a valid death.

No human body no way to call Jesus sacrifice void! Sorry devil you loose!

    Enjoy hell

You have a false assumption that Jesus' death is somehow nullified by His resurrection.

The Fact of the matter, NO, the Lord Jesus Christ died twice, once before the foundation of the world, that is when sins were paid for, and the other was at the cross, the cross was a demonstration of how God suffered from before the foundation of the world, that is why the Lord Jesus Christ is called the lamb of God, that was slain from before the foundation of the world, the cross also gave Satan a death blow and bound and chained Satan for 1000 years but the 1000 years is up and now Satan is loosed out of the bottomless pit, prowling around like a roaring lion, seeking to destroy everything that the Lord Jesus Christ has created from before the foundation of the world, because Satan knows that he only has a little season until the Lord Jesus Christ comes back to judge the living and the dead and too destroy the heaven and the earth by fire, the second death, where the heaven and the earth shall be burned up, by the hell fires. Read Revelation 17:5 read Revelation 18:4 read 2 Thessalonians 1:2-4 read Matthew 24:15-16 read 1 Peter 4:17 read Amos 8:11 read Galatians 5:17-23

According to the story, Jesus' death

    was an experience,

    rather than the termination

    of his existence.

Punishment for sin is death, if you don't sin you don't die, Jesus din't sin, therefore devil has no right to take his life, but still did, so then Jesus is resurrected because he is Holy, now the devil made a huge blunder ( of course which God fully planned ).

Before this moment, Satan would go to God and challenge God but now Jesus defeated Satan and is our inter mediator between Satan, so that when Satan tries to question why this person isn't punished for his sin, Jesus intermediates and says, I already took the punishment for him, so he is free.

once you believe the word of God such as : it is a shame for a woman to speak in church, 1Cor.14:34-35; you will be a witness of Christ death and resurrection.

It is clear that it did not "feel symbolic" to Him when it happened.

He really did die, for 3 whole days. Heart not beating and not breathing for 3 days is not symbolic buddy.
