Found a dead spaghetti like worm on the floor from our cat. How big are the chances that my family and I contracted them?

    It IS possble, but NOT very likely.

    As long as people wash their hands after scooping the litter box you should be fine.

    Your cat should go to the vet immediately though. Internal parasites can cause lots of issues.
