Should I quit my job?

I recently started back working because I thought it would help relieve some stress from my personal life and of course to have more income. Well now it has only added on stress due to me being the only newbie and the rest of the employees (just 4 others) knowing exactly what to do, I seem to be making mistakes unknowingly and it's not brought to my attention til the next day. This causes me to dread going to work. I've had talks with the boss and he doesn't want to fire me I'll have to quit. Then the other employees get mad when he assign me other duties that doesn't seem important to them but it was what he needed someone (me) to do. Then it's just 100 a week if that. I've had another job making 400 a week. I basically said that because he seems to think I'm making good money there when I've actually made more and gotten more hours elsewhere. Then they're unprofessional. Cursing all the time. Making inappropriate jokes. One coworker dancing in front of the boss Oh and it's the boss (a man) three ladies (including me) and another guy. I'm between a rock and a hard place but I'm leaning toward quitting. I just wanted a lil advice. This just some of what's going on..it's too much to type lol

For someone who has been in the same situation I would say that how you are feeling at this moment in time is completely understandable.

If your boss dosent want to fire you then I would like to think that he values you as an asset to the workplace. If not, he probably would of gotten rid of you because to buisnssses you are a number not a name. (Generally speaking)

Like you, I make the same repetitive mistakes in my workplace. However, you've got to understand that you are only human and as time progresses so will you and your skills at managing the tasks will also.

If you are truly not happy I would consider looking for a new job whilst you are still in work. If an opportunity that is better pay and does seemingly look better go for it there's nothing wrong with that either.

Focus on work while you are at work. Your boss does not want to fire you, and he does give you work to do which he needs done. Earning an income does help relieve financial stress, and learning to do a good job boosts self-esteem (which also helps relieve stress or helps you cope more effectively with stress).

Do NOT quit your job! Quitting before you have even given yourself a chance to master your tasks there means future trouble finding another job. Now THAT is going to prove stressful!

Learn techniques for managing stress, e.g. meditation, physical exercise, mental discipline, etc.
