someone suggested to me that Job and Abraham were the same persons. idk.

but if so, Job would be the same bloody prophet that Abraham was accused of by his wife! why are so many wives of holy prophets seemingly wicked and evil. ? idk

i think Stephan has a good shot at being most forgivable to others, while he was yet being stoned did he not ask God to forgive them? maybe Paul and Peter did the same thing, though Peter died as an apostle still believing he was unworthy. begs for more questions to be answered

Interesting question 😊 I'd pick Joseph, Jacob's older son by his wife Rachel. He was was sold into slavery by his ten older brothers, and was the world's first recorded victim of sexual harassment. That's a lot to forgive, but Joseph did it 👍

The person who springs immediately to mind is David. As many times as Saul tried to kill him, David refused to slay him. "The Lord forbid that I should stretch out my hand against the Lord’s anointed" 1 Samuel 26:11

Possibly King David, who forgave people like

    - King Saul, who spent many months or years trying to find and kill David

    - Abner, who led the forces of the usurper Benjaminite King Ishbosheth against David

    - Amasa, who led the forces of usurper king Absalom against David

    - Joab, who killed the previous two people after David had granted them amnesty

    - - - David had even given Amasa an important position

    - Shimei, who cursed David when David fled from Absalom's coup

    - Absalom himself, the son of David who took control of Israel by force and who attempted to kill David

    and many others.

God "is" the greatest forgiver ... and that is why the bible will always remain in my dust.
