How is Pope Francis a pope?

Because mabe, just mabe he wants to make the world a better place. He wants to help people. Not just tell them to pray.

Im not religious but Francis is the pope we need mabe not deserve but need.

He was elected to the position.

Idolatry is not Christianity and it has nothing to do with God.

Catholicism is a Cult religion with lot of false pagan beliefs. It cannot save anyone. Catholics worship or consider Mary as divine mother. They are not saved, and they do not know God. You must believe in the One True God(Father, Spirit, Son) and Christ's sacrifice ALONE for Salvation. Mary and Saints were just human beings and a sinner like you and me. No religion or sacrament or Self-Righteousness or good works can save anyone from Hell or contribute for Salvation. Only Jesus' blood can save anyone.

How to be sure of being saved or going to Heaven after death?

1) Believe in the One True God(Father, Spirit, Son) and that Christ came down to earth as a man, died on the cross and bought our pardon, and is risen on the third day. Accept Christ ALONE(not self-righteousness, not Mary, not Saints, not religion, not sacraments) as your personal savior.

2) You have a new heart and new desires. A truly Born-Again believer is a new creation and will have the natural desire to love God and hate sin. They will be extremely sorry when they sin.

It is highly unlikely for a truly Born Again believer to continue with a sinful lifestyle willingly.But, no Christian will be perfect on the other side of Heaven.

We are saved by GRACE, through FAITH, in CHRIST ALONE.

Jesus is the ONLY Way to Heaven

Um... one HAS to be catholic to BE pope.

He was elected by his peers.

And, he exists because he was conceived, born and reared by his parents AND hasn't died yet.

But you aren't a Catholic so you sound dumb
