Is voluntary shoulder dislocation harmful?

I can voluntarily dislocate and re-locate my shoulders. Is it in any way harmful to my health? Also, how rare is it?

    Not that rare, but you keep doing it and eventually it won’t stay in place because all the ligaments that make up the shoulder complex will be stretched out, think like an over stretched rubber band.
