Picking up bad habits in a abusive relationship?

hello all, I am currently in a relationship with a person who was in a very emotional abusive partner about 2 years ago.The person was very manipulative, narcissistic sociopath (not my words) and some of the things my partner says is the same things he sometimes does to me.

Examples include not telling me the whole story, just half truths. telling me lies about him seeing other people and when confronted with evidence, continues to lie about it OR gets mad and brings up old arguments.

My question is do people who have been emotionally abused pick up bad habits from their old partner? I strongly believe he has.

Thank you.

Yes, it's often mentioned in podcasts and videos about narcissism. It's part of the traumatic effects you suffer after withstanding narcissistic abuse. It is colloquially known as "fleas".
