Working out of town, 3 guys in a trailer or should I tent it?

So were working 3 hours out of town. The job is monday to Friday. For 2 months. Hotels are crazy at this time of year (300+ per night).

My boss offered to let us borrow his ok sized trailer (medium sized, I'd sleep on hide a bed). Then 2 other guys will get bed and table bed.. for 2 months.

Weather is phenomenal at this time of year and will be all summer. So I thought about tenting it on my own, I have a huge 4 person tent, I can build a platform under it. Theres showers at the campsite, ocean front views, 2 min walk to jobsite...

What would you do or how would you set it up?

I'd take the trailer, sounds better than the tent. I guess you could use the trailer but bring the tent and set it up if you think it would be better once you get going.

Are you an employee or contractor?

If you are a contractor, I'd contact the hotel to get a discount. Then I would stay there and it would be a business expenses.

If you are an employee, I'd find a new job. Your employer should be providing you proper accommodations. Having 3 men who work together all day long, should be given the respect to have privacy when off work.

I'd stick with the trailer, it will help build camaraderie between the 3 of you and help the 2 months pass quicker.
