How long after surgery do I have to wait to do yoga again?

It's been over a two months (September 18th) since I've had my pulled hernia surgery with mesh and I'd like to get back to doing yoga. I still get pains. On a scale of 1-10, it's a 7 some days. I was told that it would take up to six months to fully heal.

Would you guys recommend me getting back to it? Or should I wait a little longer? If not, then what are your tips and tricks?

It sounds like you could get back into the more simple positions and exercises as part of the physical therapy you'll need to fully recover.

We don't know your health situation.  Your doctor is the best source for this kind of advice.

The only advice I would give is - if it hurts - STOP.
