Why do people have to direct their emotions/feelings to other people?

People don't seem to understand boundaries, respect, consideration, anything that is mutuality, etc. It's always so one sided how humans project everything they feel to their companions or acquaintances. meaning they usually interact un-mutually. Like when some random stranger tries to engage in communication with me they expect me to respond, but when I do it, they're response is "uh I don't even know you, Fu** off" or when I'm busy they expect me to always be there for them, but when the tides are turned they wallow.

Why are people so delusional and hypocritical? Is this just human nature...

It’s natural to express emotions to another as a way of showing empathy and a facial reaction to what they say and do. There is nothing wrong with that because as people, we all contain emotions and feelings. You would have to be a sociopath to have a problem with that. The problem I experience with people around me is that they lack empathy, understanding and mutuality. This makes me depressed most of the time because of their insensitivity that’s disheartening. A proper relationship is supposed to be mutual and it’s also about showing heart but most people I come across don’t understand about proper relationships. They’ve got their own problems

We are by nature social beings. Any psychologist or sociologist could tell you this. We crave attention, seek to create social bonds, express ourselves when we have emotions. Its normal.

I have tried several times to push my coworkers out of my life, but I feel like they interpret that as me being lonely or having low self-esteem. The more they talk to me, the more stressed out I seem to get. I get so wound up that I explode in anger and shout like a crazy person. My coworkers avoid me for a few weeks and then it begins again. I don't want to quit my job but I can't get them to leave me alone. I am not even sure why they care so much about someone they don't even know.
