Why do friends make bad jokes about you?

Teasing is a fun part of being with friends. It's normal, everywhere. If they didn't like you, it would be insulting, right?

If you think it is funny then he is joking if not he just being an a$$

Projections of hatred against you are very rarely humorous.  Suggest you read "For Couples Only," "The Kindness Challenge," and Mark Prophet's "Understanding Yourself," keep your purity, and be able to find kinder friends.

It's not tough love, it's called being an immature brat. Defend yourself, say something clever back to shut them up. 

depends what country you are from or what country your friends/his parents are from. Example in my country we have ribbing/banter. Its normal to make jokes and stir your mate, its just casual, friendly and you both play along. However My friend and I have parents from another country so we are use to doing something of same concept but different execution so we find it funny and amusing but others think we're arseholes.

Harming you. Dump them and get better
