Yes, I believe in the afterlife. It will be much better life then what we have now. It will be so much more than we can imagine.
1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.”

Yes, if you believe in the resurrection.
Why did Jesus speak of death as a sleep?
Because a sleeping person is inactive. During deep sleep there is no consciousness of surroundings or the passing of time. There is no pain or suffering.
Similarly, in death there is no activity or activity or consciousness. But the comparison goes further with sleep.
With sleep, one expects to wake up. And that is exactly the hope that the Bible offers for the dead.
This would be the resurrection that Jesus spoke about.

I have no valid reason
to suspect that there is.
Your beliefs
are your own problem.

Apparently you don't have faith in your own belief, otherwise you wouldn't be asking this question.

Yes for sure since the life in this temporary world is the bridge that connect to the here after world or after life, whether to be in heaven or in hell to dwell there in eternally.

Not one shred of legitimate evidence exists
to support or suggest an afterlife is real.

our Creator God who gave us life tells us at Ecclesiastes 9 :5 "the living are conscience that they will die but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all. therefore there is no afterlife but the Bible does speak of Resurrection which Jesus performed when he was on Earth

YES, me also!! many evidences from God in His Miraculous, Wise, Uncreated Words and One of His Inevitable Promises. One can only go up from here, we are in the lowest level and the heavens are on top of each other the way He designed it. It truly pleases me how His rewards are far better and what He created in the Paradises for those He will take to paradise. His message regarding the afterlife and His rewards are truly beautiful especially if I were to share exactly what He said to the believers in His Holy, Truthful Words. Because of how my Lord says to not be distracted by what He gave to others in order to test them with whether its wealth, and other gifts He will test them with and that His rewards of the next life are far better. I may share in the comments.
