My ex-husband burnt down our house trying to kill us. Can he possibly go to jail?

We were asleep and our dog started barking. My son woke me and my other kids up and we found out that my ex-husband did something to our stove and burnt our house up. Could it be like attempted murder or something?

Damned straight it would be attempted murder and arson IF your Ex was responsible for the fire in your house while you were all in it. But can you be sure that the "something that was done" to your stove was something he did, not just an accident, or just a failure of the stove itself.

Um, yeah. If the police aren't involved in this already you're a fool.

Troll score 6/10. Basically well-written, vaguely interesting concept, but not well executed or believable. Extra points for not posting anonymously however.
