My father and I do not click?

My father growing up was the type of man who would tell me do this do that. For example, get a job at my company it’s the best company to work for and I said no. I did my own thing and boy did that offend him. I didn’t go work for that warehouse I went to college, my wife right now also went to college. He also wants me to shower him in presents and constantly baby him he is very draining and because I do not for that he judges me that I’m a peace of ****, greedy and stingy. I don’t want to live my life and become him I want to be my own person. What do you think of him?

You may have to cut him off from your new life.   You cannot let him ruin all you worked hard for and your marriage.    Do not answer his calls.   Or, let him know you are only available for phone calls on one day of the week like a Saturday morning.

You have your own life now.  You can not let you dad drag you down.    And, if he calls you names then warn him if he does it again you will stop talking to him.

Time you need to stand up for yourself.   Speak up.     Live your own life.

maybe you should talk to your father about all this

Clearly your college didn't help you with your written English! Peace of something, for example - not piece?! If this is genuine, your father seems to be very insecure - jealous, even. He was your main male role model growing up, so you could tell him how much you owe your success to him. Even if his influence was negative (viz your previous question) you could thank him......One thing you can learn from him is what NOT to do when you are a father!
