Why are Democrats trying to force Trump to go ahead and concede, when Al Gore didn't concede to George Bush until the middle of December?
Doesn't Trump deserve the same right to an inquiry like Gore got? Are they afraid an inquiry might actually find something? I don't think the results will change, but a presidential election is so important, isn't it worth the time to make sure it was conducted correctly?

Persuasion and force are two different things. Nobody’s forcing anybody to concede. In fact, you can’t force someone to concede. Gore had a good case. Trump doesn’t.

They don't need Trump to concede - and they're not expecting. They only want a smooth transfer of power - 1/4 million dead Americans with more to come might have something to do with that. I think that Trump is just stalling for time now, to give his people time to find and destroy/delete any incriminating documents. And there's probably a lot of those.

Bush won by less than 500 votes.
Trump is hundreds of thousands of votes behind in Michigan, 10s of thousands behind in Pennsylvania and Nevada.
He has no path to 270.
He lost the election.

Becaue this election is nowhere close, Trump clearly lost and his bombastic rhetoric is ridiculous and dangerous.

In Bush V Gore, the difference was 1 state and 537 votes in that state. This election isn't even close.
