Is Fiber burned like fat and sugar during a workout?

I have seen fiber (I'm guessing both types, insoluble and soluble) is a type of carbohydrate. I was wondering does it get burned during exercise like fat and sugar does? Does it need to be replaced in say it loses alot because of exercise? I know they say not to eat alot of fiber before or after a workout but I just would like some more info on this.

Fiber is not digested by the human body so no, it is not broken down and burned.
