Wanting to be a big brother to younger kids that I live with we are family with them I am trying to get her oldest to see that I think of him as a little brother and we don’t have to be related to have a brother relationship?

No because being a friend is someone who is closer than a brother or sister sometimes and that makes you family. Family is where the heart is regardless if you are related or not everyone needs love. It’s commendable that you want to be a big brother and guide and help someone else to become a responsible person. May your efforts be blessed. Keep a calm heart and peace of mind.
