I've been able to observe 'what goes around comes around' in action, and while I sometimes apply the word 'karma' to refer to it, it is really just about action and consequence (whether good or bad) and nothing 'supernatural'.

I believe they energy you send out, returns to you (eventually), whether it's positive or negative. The Universe seeks balance.

In that all accounts shall be settled, yes.  There will be no balance forward to carry into a new mortal life.

    Not in the supernatural sense.

But I believe the better you treat others, generally, the better they will treat you.

No but I believe in consequences. We cannot sin with impunity. Paul wrote at Galatians 6:7, 8)) "Do not be misled: God is not one to be mocked. For whatever a person is sowing, this he will also reap; 8 because the one sowing with a view to his flesh will reap corruption from his flesh, but the one sowing with a view to the spirit will reap everlasting life from the spirit."

We may face certain consequences of our actions.

Yes, but only by God's law - what you sow is what you reap.

Or as His son Jesus Christ taught - treat others, the way you want to be treated.
