Since just "one baptism" (Eph 4:5) that Jesus does Who gives POWER to be a Christian Why do today's Christians deny the POWER OF GOD to be a?

CHRISTIAN?

THEY DON'T WANT TO BE CHRISTIANS BUT REMAIN HYPOCRTIES?

JOHN 1:33 SAYS "THE SAME IS HE WHICH BAPTIZES WITH THE HOLY GHOST"

JESUS PROMISED (((POWER))) (ACTS 1:8) AFTER HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM (ACTS 1:5)

JOH 1:12 SAYS

"BUT AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM TO THEM GAVE HE (((POWER))) [ACTS 1:5;8] TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD"

WHO ARE THE (((ONLY))) CHRISTIANS (I CORINTHIANS 12:11-13).

WHY DO TODAY'S CHRISTIANS CONTINUE TO (((LIE))) CLAIMING CHRISTIANITY?

DON'T THEY KNOW THEY ARE (((USING THE LORD'S NAME IN VAIN?)))

Update:

@USER

Why are you so (((IGNORANT?)))

If you prefer a powerless water baptism (Matt 28:19+) vs Jesus' baptizing who gives (((POWER))) (John 1:33; Acts 1:5;8)

You (((REJECT))) Jesus' teaching and "DENY THE POWER OF GOD" (II Tim 3:5-7) to baptize you.

Update 2:

@ANON

 5Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts. 6Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar: 7And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged" (Isaiah 65:5-7).

Update 3:

GOD deals with a man's ((( spirit! )))

"Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. 2Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile" (Psalm 32:1-2)

Update 4:

@POPE

"GOD LAUGHS" (Psalm 37:13).

Update 5:

@DAVID

Is that all you have is your usual "ACCUSATIONS: (Rev 12:10)?

"But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God." (Acts 5:39)!

Update 6:

@ANON

Don't you know you look like a FOOL (Psalm 14:1)?

Is that all you have is your usual "ACCUSATIONS: (Rev 12:10)?

"But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God." (Acts 5:39)!

    The authentic (Holy Catholic Church) has always proclaimed just ONE baptism for the forgiveness of sins and the reception of the Holy Spirit.

    But everything begins with the act of water baptism where you tell the world that you repent and that you call upon the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins.

    The scripture goes repent therefore and be baptized calling upon the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of your sins..  that's where your Christian walk begins that's why Jesus was baptized in water so that you could see that that's the first step!

    There's no argumentation here there's no gray area there's no room for error here if you are a Christian which means to be like Jesus Christ then you do what Jesus did.  You will remember the scripture very clearly Jesus Christ was water baptized first and then the heavens opened up and the spirit of God descended upon Jesus and a voice was heard from heaven this is my son the beloved listen to him.

    So if Jesus was water baptized then you better darn well follow jesus' example otherwise you're not a Christian not in the least

    I have noticed this in catholics. I have asked why? One person is a Catholic teacher, yet since she has had cussing around her even growing  up; she dose not believe it is wrong. She even said to me once that it was hard not to cuss, when I am with her.

    We don't reject Jesus or his teachings.

    We don't reject the power of God.

    What we reject

    as we ought to do

    is your doctrines

    which contradict plain and clear Bible teaching.
