Hi can they issue an warrant?
To this afternoon, I parked my car and walked to my friend house, I parked near his house and the neighbor house. She calls in and says that I tried to get into her house by breaking and entering which I never stepped foot on her property, the officer said it was suspicious for me to park and walk but after running my name and all and seeing I never had any run ins with the police he let me go. But I’m worried that he may try to issue a warrant or something later on. Can he do this? I live in NC

A warrant requires probable cause. You were suspicious at best, but nothing you did establishes probable cause. A paranoid neighbor is NOT probable cause.
