  • My iPad froze?

I was running an app then when I tried to close it by pressing the home button, there was no response. After that I just decided to try and turn it off and still nothing. When I press the sleep/wake button, the screen goes black like usual but when I press it again it doesn't go to my lock screen, but back to the same screen I was frozen on. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? Thanks!

  • How do I tell a friend I don't want to sleep over?

Ok so tonight is homecoming night and since neither me nor my friend are going we have had plans planned for tonight for a few weeks now. We're supposed to have a sleepover and the problem is I'm not good with sleepovers at all, I always get homesick for some reason and I'm not sure why I agreed to a sleepover in the first place. The last few times I've tried to stay the night at other peoples houses I've ended up having to have my parents pick me up and take me home. So a few hours ago, my friend told me that our plans were off cause her mom got mad at her and I was really relieved. Now she's telling me that they're back on and I have no idea what to do. I already told my mom that I'm staying home tonight and I honestly don't feel like going anymore. Is there any way I can cancel these plans with my friend without hurting her feelings?

I've already read TFIOS, Paper Towns, and Looking For Alaska and adored all three. I'm between An Abundance of Katherines and Will Grayson, Will Grayson. Any suggestions?

  • Is Looking For Alaska worth the read?

I've been on a John Green reading kick recently and I was wondering if Looking for Alaska would be worth the read. I recently read Paper Towns and the Fault in Our Stars and fell in love with both. Opinions?

  • What should my stance be (in tennis) while waiting for the serve?

I'm pretty good at tennis but the only thing I am questioning is my stance when waiting for my opponent's serve. Is there a specific way I need to stand? My dad says I need to stand sideways but my mom argues I need to face forward. Thank you!

  • What does the word premise mean?

I had to read a book over the summer and now I have to do a project on the book. One of the things it says to do is "Decide on what premises (at least 3) about our future of the books is built. Illustrate by constructing or drawing in some way one of the important places, items, animals or people described in the book and include the premises in the presentation in some creative way." Anyone know what "premises" would mean when it is used in this way? Thanks!

  • What stretches can I do to fix lordosis?

I have a slight lordosis in my back and I really want to fix it. I'm a suitable weight for my age, but my lordosis causes my gut to look bigger than it actually is and it's been bugging me a lot lately.

  • Did I say something wrong?

This guy asked me out a while ago and I honestly didn't like him back like that. I was really scared about hurting his feelings so I just said "Thats really sweet but I don't really want a boyfriend right now. Hope we can still be friends?" and now I feel really bad.. Does that sound mean? Or is it okay?
