It get warm at the end of the differential but really hot where the differential cover and oil sit ..

If my engine is at about 205 when I park, if I turn off my car and leave it for about 5 minutes, when I come back and start it, it will usually be about 215 or so. Basically, noticeably hotter after turning it off and back on. Is this normal? 2005 Dodge Durango 3.7 with 135,000 miles . Water Pump and thermostat are new.
