How much have you paid to have your wisdom teeth removed in North Texas?
I go to a higher-end dentist in Uptown Dallas. After insurance, it'll cost me $800. Is this completely outrageous or should I shop around?
4 AnswersDallas1 decade agoTaxes: Can I deduct mileage and parking fees if I was a temporary (self-employed) contractor?
I am confused about the definition of "commuting" and whether, if I did temporary contract work for a couple of months, I can use the mileage deduction and add any parking fees for that time period.
6 AnswersUnited States1 decade agoWhat is the standard way to report annual salary to a potential lender?
Do I only disclose my base salary, or can I include things like projected bonus, overtime, etc. If I can include these things, do I include them separately (on the additional income line) or as part of the salary?

4 AnswersCredit1 decade agoHow do you sell or cash in a municipal bond?
I found a municipal bond that matured in 2007 and belonged to my grandfather, worth $5,000 plus interest. Is the certificate itself worth cash? If so, how do you go about cashing it? Do I need to contact a broker?

8 AnswersMen's Health1 decade agoIf you are denied credit because of an error in your report, what do you do once it's fixed?
Obviously, I can just re-apply for credit with the same company, but that would result in another "hard inquiry" and lower my score. Is there some way to get the bank to check your corrected report without damaging your score? If so, how do you go about it?
2 AnswersCredit1 decade agoIs the invoice price of a vehicle typically $3,000 less than the MSRP?
I assume it varies by vehicle, but for a typical $20,000 vehicle, can I assume the invoice price is about $17,000?
2 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoWhat happens when you become vested in your 401k?
Say your company matches 6% of your contributions after 5 years. At the 5-year mark, does your employer deposit 6% of what you've saved so far into your account? Or does it start matching your contributions (up to 6%) from that point forward?
4 AnswersPersonal Finance1 decade agoDoes the word "between" only refer to a choice of 2 options?
As in "you have to choose between apples or oranges"? If so, is it wrong to say "visit my store between April 1-7"? (because you have more than 2 options of dates to visit?).
3 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoIs it really necessary to remove asymptomatic impacted wisdom teeth?
I have some crowding in my bottom teeth which I plan on correcting with Invisalign. But my dentist also recommended having my wisdom teeth removed, even though he said I can do the Invisalign before removing my wisdom teeth. But is it really necessary to remove impacted wisdom teeth if they are not causing infections? Is wisdom teeth removal overdone in this country?
1 AnswerDental1 decade agoDoes Invisalign cost the same whether you straighten top or bottom teeth or both?
I only need to straighten my bottom teeth, and my dentist recommended Invisalign. I was given a rough quote of $5000, but I don't think this was customized to my case. Does anyone know if Invisalign costs less if you only fix the top or bottom teeth, or is it $5000 always? Also, my insurance says it covers 50% of orthodontics but doesn't mention Invisalign. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!
3 AnswersDental1 decade agoHow do you know if you have forgiven someone?
I went through a bad childhood situation and have since learned that the only way to move on is to forgive the people responsible. However, I don't know if I just say I forgave them (because that's what I know I should do), or if I still hold resentment. How do you know if you've forgiven someone?
11 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs it easier or harder to obtain credit during a recession?
I know interest rates go down when the economy suffers. I remember how after 9/11 they were almost giving away cars with 0% financing. But is it easier or harder to obtain credit during a recession?
5 AnswersCredit1 decade agoIs "our working together" grammatically correct?
As in "I look forward to our working together"? I'd rather say "...to us working together" or "to working with you". Thanks.
3 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoWhat is the best time of year to buy a new or used vehicle?
Yes, I know the best time of year for a new vehicle is probably when they release the following year model, but I'm wondering about dealership sales events for used vehicles as well. I know we have Presidents Day sales, Memorial and Labor Day sales. What else? What's a big holiday weekend to purchase a vehicle?

2 AnswersCredit1 decade agoLiposuction in Dallas, Texas?
Can anyone recommend a good liposuction surgeon in Dallas? I am in great shape except for some fat around my stomach, so it's not a matter of losing weight (I am 6'1 and 190lbs). If you can include as many details as possible (including price), that would be great!
