  • Aggressive Cancer?

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in April. She had two operations to remove it (they did not get it all first time). She is now going through radiation treatment and be on tablets for the next five years. What is worrying me though is that the oncologist said radiation treatment is generally 10 sessions over two weeks or 15 over three. She is having 16 treatment though. Does it mean her cancer is a particularly nasty aggressive cancer or they are using belt and braces treatment?

  • How much to buy and have installed Differential bearings.?

I own a 2008 Dodge caliber which has started to whine when I reach 40 KPH, I took it to a garage today and they are convinced it is the Differential Bearings that need replacing. If the cost is to much then I would probably buy a new car. How much would it cost approx. to have a transmission place replace them?

  • How do I stop tree shoots growing in my lawn?

How to stop tree shoots. Every morning when I look at my front lawn, there are numerous tree shoots growing in the grass. Sometimes I spray with roundup (which also kills the grass surrounding it). Sometimes, I dig them out and then spray the hole with roundup, with the intention of filing the hole with soil and grass seed. Some times I just pull them out. How can I eliminate them completely, preferably without using roundup?

  • Excel Spreadsheet has frozen?

I use quite a few different spreadsheet. Recently they have all got the same problem. If I want to put a number in one cell and then move down to the one below it and put another number in it. When I press the down arrow it actually stays on the same cell and makes me put the next number in the original cell. So instead of putting i.e. a 3 in the first cell and then an 8 in the next one it makes me put in 38 etc. Can anyone tell me how to unlock it ad go back to normal? I have tried 'freezing/unfreezing' the cells.

  • Why are my short iron shots going 90 degrees from the club.?

I am a left handed golfer, whenever I try a chip shot with a short iron, all my shot shoot off at 90 degrees away from me. It is as if my wrist are loose (which they are not) or it is coming off the toe. It is really starting to affect my game now and I think about it whenever I have a short iron in my hands. What is going wrong and how can I correct it?

  • United 93?

I watched the movie United 93 today (the one made in 2006). I am quite sure that I saw Gerard Butler (as a passenger - but not credited) and also Mark Walhberg (as an air traffic controller - again not credited). Was I seeing things or where they in the movie?

  • Have these people got a leg to stand on?

I am a member of a local club, four years ago, we rented out our dining room and kitchen to this husband/wife catering company. Both sides to give thirty days notice of cancellation. Thirty days ago, we gave them notice that the monthly lease would not be renewed (they were paying about $900 per month rent but it was costing up $1700 per month to allow them to stay there. Now they have decided that they are going to sue the club for $40 000 for what they claim will be lost earnings from now until April 2015.

So are they trying to pull a fast one and hope we pay up, or are they barking up the wrong tree?

  • The Canadian Federal labour Laws, do not address the issue of meal breaks etc.for workers. ?

I work for CPR on a certain job and because they are a federally regulated company, my managers think they can work me (and others) for up to ten hours )in all weather conditions), without any sort of meal/rest break. Out of the goodness of their hearts they will let us take 20 minutes (when convenient) and that time starts when we leave the train and we must be back on in the time).

We all feel that this no breaks practice is illegal and would like some kind of proof etc. that is in fact illegal and we should be entitled to more that what we are getting. Does anyone have the correct answer

  • Does my dog think I am going to be late?

I need to get up at between 5.00 and 5.30 am every morning for work. When I get a day off, I obviously do not. But you can guarantee that the same dog (I have two) is knocking on the side of the bed at about 5.20, 25 when I am attempting to lie in Do you think my dog realises that I am not up at the normal time and thinks I'll be late?

So would that make him physic?
