I work in oncology. I love the type of patient we have. They are so thankful for everything you do for them. Acuity level is high though one patient can have a trach,peg, chest tube and confused. I feel like I get to see everything. I just hate the death. But luckily with today's technology/treatments it doesn't happen so often. I work with a great group of nurses too.

I hate to be rude but that is not fair that they have no respect for a small child. I was so angry, and wanted to say "cut it out will you already!" I guess they are so proud but I don' want to have that conversation with my young impressionable child yet. How come they act so rude? I wouldn't want that even from a straight couple. Why can't they keep that in their bedroom? They just wouldn't stop. what should I say next time? Why do I have to put up with that crap? I don't have anything against them but they should not do that in front of a kid. what are your thoughts?

What did she do wrong? She was the one who was done wrong. I think its not fair that her campaign is constantly being

trashed due to that.

She got 2 failing grades on her report card and hid it for a whole week and when I told her that she was grounded and that she wouldn't be talking on the phone for a while she told me that I was treating her like a child and that high school is hard. She refused to be grounded. I told her to get out of my face cause I was so dissapointed in her and she told me that she was gonna buy her own phone and use it no matter what I say. She wouldn't get out of my face and kept mouthing off. I slapped her and she hit me back ! I told her that she has to leave my house cause no child of mine will raise their hand to me. Obviously a line was crossed. I don't know what to do but she thinks that she is grown and can take care of her self. She is in that in between age she turns 18 in Sept.
