a person in their 30s making over 500,000 per year, in the USA, converts one of their Traditional IRAs to a Roth IRA in 2010 - they do NOT add any additional money to the Roth IRA in 2010 - the person has other Traditional IRAs that they contribute to (but do not convert those to Roth IRAs) - a popular tax software says the person has made excessive Roth IRA "contributions" in 2010 which are subject to a 6% penalty ... is the coversion (or rollover) considered a "contribution" ?

I've seen Red, White, Blue, Yellow, Orange, light Green, light Pink, dark Pink, Purple, light Purple, Teal ... that's 11 different colors. In each color you can get one which faces left or faces right - if you get one of each color, facing in each direction - that leaves ten spots in the garden - so I'm wondering if there could possibly be 5 more colors? (Black, Brown, dark Green, Gray, Silver?)

I realize you probably perceive every guy as unique, maybe you think a hairy chest suits one man but not another - or maybe you see it as an absolute, "all or none?" I really have no idea - therefore, the question ... what is your personal preference?

One out, runners on first and third, batter hits a tapper in front of the plate, batter runs for first base, catcher picks up ball, fires to second base (presumably with intent of turning a 2-6-3 double play to end inning) - the catcher's throw is high, sails into centerfield, the runner on third scores easily ...

... You are the official scorer - is there any way the batter is awarded an RBI ? ...

... my guess is the only way an RBI could be awarded is if the catcher's throw was on target, the shortstop catches it cleanly and makes the relay throw to first base - but the batter beats the throw ... once the catch made the error I assume it's a closed case - NO RBI awarded ?

the batter did have above average speed - and - the runner on third broke for home as soon as the catcher threw toward second base - but i think both those points are irrelevant

I understand the current iTouch is "third generation" ... is there any point in waiting for the 'next' generation? How long would that be?

Forget how much you like it or don't like it .. WHY did the do it? What was their logic?

Colorado State? Utah? BYU? Boise State? .. some other Mountain West or WAC team? Could they possibly steal a Big 12 school? What other conference are candidates to lose a school to the Pac 10?

It sounds like the Big 10 will steal a school from either the Big 12 or Big East. Pittsburgh, Syracuse, Rutgers, Missouri and Texas among others are possibilities.

Rutgers gives them the NYC TV market - but they're basketball program isn't that strong. Rutgers and Texas seem pretty far away from the Big 10 core.

Which school will they end up adding and why?

I know what 'applications' are and, I know what 'XP' refers to - but I've never heard the word 'productivity' squished in the middle - does anyone know exactly what they're getting at? (Or what are they hoping we may NOT infer from that statement? ... Yes, I am un-trusting.)

It's a brand new pan - Fabreware or Faberware I think. Stainless Steel - not copper, glass, iron or whatever other materials they use. I boiled water on an electric stove for pasta. When I was done there were white spots on the inside-bottom of the pan, mostly in a circle near the outer wall of the pan.

Did I break it boiling water?
