I have a Sony HDTV and also a cable company to deal with. In trying to watch a DVD disc, it takes me too long to change the inputs so I can do so, but how do I get back to watching regular t.v. without having to call the cable co. I need simple terms, no technical terms that I will not understand. Can anyone help an older, widowed female who may be smart but not up on the latest technology. Thanks and God bless

I live in a mobile home and though I pay for my own heat, my landlord supplies the furnace hence the kind of fuel I must use. I had a leak the other day in mine, he fixed it, but does anyone know exactly how safe kerosene is to use? I never used anything but oil or electric and the idea of heating with a toxic chemical scares me. If anyone knows about heating with kerosene, please tell me if they are considered safe enough? I cannot afford to move again. Thank you

When I bought this keyboard I substituted it for the brand that is more popular. These are the only kind one can buy in my area. I am lost without volume control and was assured it had same. Now I cannot remember where it is. On my old one it was right at the top in a place where it sat next to mute and pause. Does anyone know where Logitech has placed these keys?

my page on both mail, yahoo, my yahoo, etc. keeps getting larger, smaller and when I click my mouse it does this. All the tabs for yahoo on the top remain open. I keep adjusting my text size for my desktop under where it states"page" yet it does whatever. What is wrong with yahoo and when will it be fixed.

I just answered a question about music and used the singer Josh Groban in my answer. For whatever reason Yahoo spell check decided there was no singer by that last name. They sent me to check on Yahoo search engine. Guess what they are only correct with common every day words.

When my grandchildren were younger they learned this song in grade school. It is not the pared down Disney version. It includes the lines "there,s a white one, a black one" and ends with "it is a small world after all". Does anyone know where I can find it to download. It brings back the memories of them when they were really young. They are growing too fast and this song is the essence of what the U.S. is all about. We are all one no matter our color, religion, etc. I hope someone can help. thanks

I bought this rolling cart by this manufacturer and it has detachable casters <I think that is what they are called rather than plain old wheels> and am having trouble attaching them. Does anyone know how. The cart is plastic if that means anything.

I am a senior citizen, who is dyslexic and also has degenerative disk disease of the spine. I have never had a traffic ticket nor ever caused an accident. I only live in this area of Pa. having relocated from another 3 months ago. I was stopped by a cop for changing lanes too often. Here, we have to stay to the right to go to a right hand store, left for the same, middle for no change. I did not know where a store was so had to legally <I thought> change lanes while trying to find a place. I signalled each time. A cop pulled me over and told me I looked like I was lost. I said I was and instead of letting that go since changing lanes is legal, he asked me why I had on a cervical collar. I told him my health problem and he asked what kind of medication I was on at that time. I told him I only took medication at night. He claimed once again that I looked lost. I was lost. Now Sat. I got a letter from the DMV stating that it has been brought to their attention that I have a medical condition and I need to have my doctor fill out a form stating how long I have been treated for this, what meds I am on, how often I take them, how does this affect my driving, etc. I have dyslexia and was not on any medication but do not even have a doctor here yet. I take mild medication only at night although I was prescribed by my doctor in my prior area of Pa. to take as needed. He is now gone from the area. How am I suppose to prove a negative. I have a safe driving record and unfortunately dyslexia. I have no problem reading only directional issues. They will take away my driving privileges and I can only walk with a cane. Help, please.

There is a big warning about and from Yahoo against joining a group whose name is "grouply". How intelligent is it, therefore, to not put it into my spam, but right there in my inbox. Check it out on snopes and yahoo is complaining loud and clear about this so called group. How stupid is that?

The buyer of my house has been stalling for whatever reason, but keeps delaying things. Now I have moved to an apartment over 200 miles away but still in Pa. I moved due to death of spouse. Finally the sale is going to close. Instead of traveling back for the closing, rather than being there can I use a notary or proxy where I now live to witness and fax my signature?

There is nothing but problems with yahoo mail and it is going on for months. I have 2 accounts, but one has a 2 yr. span of missing mail. I have over 187 drafts when I do not even "do" drafts. It is useless, yet they will not close it for me and allow me to open another. Why would I want another when they cannot get one right is a dumb question, but it is either that or gmail and hotmail so one can have a whole slew of them. Nothing one gets for free seems to work. They get their monies from ads yet all we get is aggravation. I have someone in my family who no longer speaks to me thinking I ignored an email that never arrived. My son sent me an email from his laptop from across the room from his yahoo account and it did not arrive. That was over 7 months ago. He tried it 3 times in that same day and none ever arrived. The economy is terrible, I have to pay a lot to have my cable co. to use their internet svc. but something that does not work is worth nothing to me or advertisers.

My nephew is almost 55 yrs. old but is tech. lacking. I want to teach him. He has no email address but yahoo insists he must in order to join. I do not want him on mine. He tried to set one up today and they gave him the runaround. They insist he has to have an email a/c. If he wants one of his own, why does he need a back up. Should he have to join some other svc. first. This is stupid. Kids of school age join all of the time without this problem. I do not want him in my mail as I shop and pay bills and even though I trust him I also have personal things on there. This is crazy since I see kids at the library all the time and they changed theirs constantly, Is it because he is old. One is never too old to learn. Thank you and by the way he does not want his name as his user name. Why all the big deal. I had 2 accounts with yahoo and they messed my second one up so badly that I lost almost all of it on it. There are only bits and pieces left and over 400 drafts. This makes sense?

I am replacing one wireless Logitech keyboard with a new one and since I already have one, what do I need to do to just change from old one to new one? In other words do I have to connect it as if I did not already have one and start from scratch when doing so?

I pay to have my driveway cleared and gravel put down, but I cannot get down my deck stairs now, as I have no commercial product on hand. What items already in my pantry would work for this.

I have a breed of dog now that I never owned before and they are very difficult to housebreak and take care of. I want to take good care of her, but do not want to loose my sanity, since she does not know me, nor do I know her but we are bonding. Do not want to seem insensitive, but am I too old to have this breed of dog to make her happy. Help, please,

The song was recorded in the 60,s I believe and the lyrics were something like "honey, the angels took you away too soon, why" , etc. It was a beautiful ballad and I am, as I have asked here before, trying to find songs I loved to download MP3 via my computer. I cannot remember the name and am not even sure of the singer, but it was a love song and a real tearjerker. Help, please, Gina

I am trying to set up a media library and finding old songs is difficult. There is a song that,s lyrics were. "Down in Bermuda, paradise for two, I found <or lost? my true love, there in the blue", etc. etc. Does anyone know it,s title? In those days, we knew all the words, now some of them, but the titles were not that important to us. Too many songs were sung by the same artists. It was totally different than today,s music. I might be old, but love music and am downloading music from all the decades. I have a big collection, but if I do not know the title, obviously cannot find it. I hope someone can help. Remember, kids, some of us "oldsters" still love music from all eras. Thanks in advance.

The words are all mixed up but some phrases are: in a little Chapel valley, and the bells were ringing for a little <some name boy> and I think his last name is Brown. It is a sad refrain, but uplifting and when a person has the darn song in their brain, as I do know, would love someone to have some idea. It repeats the same refrain about the bells ringing, and the little boy. I know this is a longshot, but what the heck, I will take the chance some oldster will know. Thanks in advance.

This car is different in some ways than the same model as one I had before, and even the Chev. dealer has not helped me. Now that is strange to me. I hope someone knows as it is more than just the one hour of DST since the battery also died once causing it to be completely out of whack.

I am old, lonely, but cheerful about the future, but cannot go everywhere alone. Other women in my area of Pa. must have this dilemma, also.
