"Been there, done that" doesn't even start to describe it. Born in 1961, overeducated, underpaid, hard working, well travelled. Gay, car crazy, religious, philosophical. Working class, unpretentious with a taste for the finer things. I have a 17 year old daughter who is awesome!!!!. I live with a cat and 1/2. I am currently single and would like to change that. I hate laziness more than almost anything else. But there are no fools that I suffer well. Have no use for republicans, smokers, druggies, bigots, racists or other scum. Guess that about sums it up.
A clone funeral ?
My clone no longer exists and while I celebrate this fact I wonder how to go about planning a funeral on Yahoo.
I also know another one will be here soon, so the memorial for the last one needs to be quick! :-)
8 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoHave you missed me?
I've been away from the site for a coupld of months, was shocked to see I was still in top ten contributors in category.
I was also saddened to see that it hasn't changed a bit. The same ignorant bashers asking the same lame questions over and over.
So, the question is...why am I back?
18 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoPushing? Still in vogue?
Are we still pushing?
I'm so close to the next level I hate to waste points if not. :-)
8 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoWhy are we (gay community) so invested in it being genetic?
Does anyone really think the bigots care whether it is genetic or not?
Do we think if they find out it isn't a choice they'll grant us full civil rights the next day and offer apologies?
They know people of color don't choose their race...and yet they still hate them...why would we be any different?
Note: I'm not saying I think sexual orientation is genetic or is choice...I'm just curious why it is so important to people.
8 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoWhy are there so many non-gay questions here?
Do people just not read? Or just not care?
15 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoLooking for a beach vacation for me and my 16 year old daughter, any favorite spots?
My 16 year old daughter has recently come back into my life. I found out she has never been to the ocean, so this Spring or Summer I want to take her to the beach.
Would prefer East Coast and I don't have a huge amount of money to spend. Would prefer somewhere with something to do other than sit on the beach.
Thanks!

Got my Yahoo Answers hat in the mail...doubt if I ever wear it...think it would sell on eBay?
2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoMerry Christmas made political?
I'm a liberal Christian and have always wished friends and strangers a Merry Christmas prett much non-stop from Thanksgiving on.
Last year a couple of conservative shock jock radio guys invented this "war on Christmas" BS and got a lot of people stirred up about it.
Now I feel almost like saying "Merry Christmas" is a political act and I hate it. I almost want to switch to some generic holiday greeting just to let people know I don't side with the lunatic fringe.....but I LOVE Christmas for the most part.
Anyone else struggling with the realities of this?
10 AnswersChristmas1 decade agoAre Other Retailers getting sick of the loooong holiday hours?
I'm a salaried manager for America's 3rd largest retailer and finding the 5am opening and midnight closes tiring AND a little silly.
Does anyone really sell enough outside of regular times to justify these hours?
bah, humbug
3 AnswersCareers & Employment1 decade agoWhat are the worst baby names ever?
I have heard a story (not sure if it is true) of the woman who named her kids Lemonjelo and Orangelo because she saw Lemon and Orange Jello on her lunch menu. Any worse than these?
20 AnswersBaby Names1 decade agoHalloween?
Why are people posting Halloween questions still? I was shocked to see several new questions today.

First person to correctly identify where that song lyric comes from gets 10 points.

Has she released a recording?

I have a first generation BUSE 321 system. It works perfectly but will not eject the DVD that is in it.
Any suggestions?
2 AnswersHome Theater1 decade agoWhy debate science?
I just answered for the 400th time the question, "Are people born that way or choose to be gay?"
I also see a lot of debate about other scientific issues here in other sections.
Isn't that a bit like debating gravity? "Do you believe a dropped object falls to the earth?"
I don't think sexual orientation's origins are quite that clear yet. But, I think they will be someday...either way it isn't a matter of faith it is a matter of science.
9 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoWhy is the number of points between levels 4 and 5 so large?
I don't think I'll ever see level 6.
2 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoIs heterosexuality outdated?
Now that we can reproduce without the disgusting act of heterosexual intercourse do we really need to keep breeding stock around?
Other than rape and war what has the so-called "straight community" given to society?
Spousal abuse at all time high rates.
Way over 50% admit to cheating.
Over 50% end in divorce.
It's just not natural.
14 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoGuys what do you call it pleasuring yourself?
We all do it, but what do we call it?
Choking the chicken? Beating the bishop? Whack a mole? I've heard a million....let's see if we can find a million and 1.
21 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender1 decade agoChristmas gift for 16 year old girl?
I have not been able to be part of my daughter's life until the last few months, so this will be my first Christmas gift for her.
She's very artistic and is good with computers.
I was going to buy her a computer, but she's building her own in school...now I'm stumped.
