20 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)5 years agoI am looking into a new rifle?
This isn't the typical, tell me what rifle to buy question. I am looking for a new rifle. I already know I want it in 270wsm, and because of this, my selection is a little more limited. I have found 3 rifles I like that are in this caliber and have a wood stocks. They are the Browning X-bolt, Tikka T3, and the Winchester 70. If there are any others that you know of please let me know. What I was wondering is, do all of you have any experience with any of these rifles?
8 AnswersHunting7 years agoWhat is your preferred rifle round?
I just perchest a Nikon Prostaff 5 with the BDC (Bullet Drop Compensator) reticle and hoping to use it to start shooting a little longer distances. I am currently shooting the Federal Premium Vital Shock Trophy Bonded Tip out of my 270wsm out to 400 yards. Anyone have a go to round. The one I have is doing just fine and I have taken 4 deer with it so far with no problems but just wondering what everyone else is using?

I have been looking at the Cabelas Alaknak tent. Does anyone have any experience with this tent or do they have any other outfitter tents they like.
1 AnswerHunting8 years agoWhy are Chicago Police no longer allowed to carry the Sig p series of Pistols?
I have looked every where and can't find out the reason behind the Chicago Police not allowing the Sig P series for duty. Does anyone know why?
2 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police8 years agoTo all the Pheasant hunters out there what is your preferred shot shell?
I have been using the Prairie Storm 3" #4, with a full choke in 12 gauge for a few years now with great results but I am curious what everyone else is using and having good results with.
The main reason I am asking is because my parents moved to Jamestown ND and now the only place to get ammo when I go home on leave is at the local walmart. So instead I plan on ordering online and having it sent to their house. It is a lot easier than to buy it in AZ and fly home with it. Last year all they had were some Remington 2 3/4 #4 and #5. It worked but didn't perform near as well.
5 AnswersHunting8 years agoShooting a doe with fawns?
I have recently answered a question and got some negative feedback. In my area it is common practice to shoot a doe with or without fawns. Especially during the gun season. During the bow season I try to wait until it gets close to the rut when the fawns will get kicked away from the does anyways. So is it common in your area to kill a doe with fawns or not?
5 AnswersHunting9 years agoToo all the bow hunters. Do you wear rubber boots for scent control when deer hunting?
Just curious. I usually don't, I just use the scent spray on my boots before entering the woods.
6 AnswersHunting9 years agoSig 556 or Bushmaster AR15?
Between the two which one is more reliable? I have shot the bushmasters. I haven't shot the sig yet. I did like the way the sig felt when I held it though. So any inputs.
7 AnswersHunting10 years ago"Bauer Reflex RX8. Has anyone used them, and what is you feedback?
I was looking at the Pads, glove and blocker (Goalie gear). I was looking at the Limited Edition versing of the set. Anyone have an opinion on them?
1 AnswerHockey1 decade agoHas anyone used a G5 Striker? Are they as accurate as your field tips?
Or what do you guys shoot. I have been shooting the rage for the past two years but I want to switch back to a fixed blade. I don't want to change my sights for the broadheads. I do tune my bow, but muzzys and shuttle T locks wont fly the same as my field tips. Any info would be great.
