If you go back in time(if ever possible) to stop something from happening and accidentally cause it to happen, if you never went back in time to stop it would that event subsequently "undo" itself

Last week my bro got heat exhaustion while playing paintball, we thought that it was because it was around 100 degrees. But today he did as well, and it is only like 80. He did not get to play that much as he got sick early on in the day. He is in shape and works out on a daily bases, he hydrated himself in the days leading up to the days he got heat exhaustion as well as the same day of. I am thinking that it may be something else, because it is odd that someone in shape can get heat exhaustion so easy without doing that much physical activity. Any ideas on what it may be.

A zebra dies and goes to heaven. He ask fater Peter, who is at the gates, where he can find God because he needs to ask him a question. After finding God he asks him " am i white with black strips or black with white strips" which in reply God only says " you are what you are". confused he goes back to Father Peter who asks him"i am confused, i ask God if i am white with black or black with white strips, and he didnt tell me" Father Peter said " well what did he tell you" the zebra said " all he told me is "you are what you are" Father peter says " thats easy, you white whit black strips" the zebra replies " how you figure that. Father peter tells him " if you were black with white strips he would of told you " you is what you is"
