I know it's 48 states, but what are they? I know it would be easier to answer, what are the two states that don't acknowledge this degree? Thanks!

  • So angry at my husband. What should I do?

Here is how my husband deals with things. Whenever things get really bad between us, he goes and gets drunk with his friends. Since being married 2.5 years, he had done this 2 times. This last time, he showed up to work 4.5 hours late, almost got fired, and went to go see his family. His family lied to me about his whereabouts. Had his boss not called me asking where he was, I would have never known. I am deeply saddened because I was so worried about him that I even asked my family if they had heard from him. So basically everyone knows. I decided to confront his mother about all the lies (she covers for him) and we got into it pretty bad.... by this I don't mean name calling... I just mean I told her how I felt no support from her and feel saddened that her son cannot confront things because of the way she raised him. It was bad drama and I initially wanted to end it, but I still feel attached and emotionally overwhelmed with this decision. I, however, am angry because when my spouse lost his job for 6 months, I took care of him all by myself.... his family never thanked me and when I asked my spouse to stand up for me, he couldn't tell her I was right. I feel so torn and betrayed because he won't stand up for me. I feel that this is a tie breaker for me, but it deeply saddens me and I don't know what to do. I'm wondering what other wives do to cope with this anger that I have toward my spouse. I love him and want to run from him, but I stop myself because I am so angry at the fact that he did not defend me. I have no intension of making amends with his family, but I wish he would just stand up for me. Is it too much to ask for?

  • Injury at Ortho. Can I sue?

I went to my orthodontist appointment today (I've been going here for 4 years). They wanted to take an x-ray and while doing this, the machine somehow fell. It caused me to collapse to the floor. The dental assistant ran out screaming. While I was left on the floor trying to crawl to the waiting room for my husband to help me. I could barely breathe and my spouse realized that I had bleeding/ swelling/ bruising on my shoulder. I went to the ER and nothing was broken. I am traumatized by this machine and I do not believe that these people should be treating people with unsafe conditions. I have never been too happy with the Ortho services. My question: can I sue for injury? If so, does it seem like I have a case. I work full-time and I go to school full-time. This severe shoulder pain and back pain is causing discomfort and adjustment to work with my left hand instead of my right. Any suggestions?

  • Help? Husband dilemmas.?

I have been married for almost 2 years now. He has always had a bit of an issue with telling me what he is going to do for that day. We make plans to go have dinner. I'm so busy with grad school and work so any little time that I spent with him is good. Today we have plans that we would go to my school together and have dinner on my hour break. When I get home, he said that he was 45 min away with his friend trying to get a job. He had promised to go with me, but he said he'd meet up with me later. Because he doesn't have a car and my school is an extra 45 min away, I thought it was impossible for him to come. He tried to come visit me, but was unsuccessful.

I am very angry at him, so angry in fact that I am questioning my whole marriage. He knew that this was my pet peeve and he is still doing this to me. I hate flakes and I'm starting to really dislike him. I told him that I hate him because I'm angry and I don't want to put my all into this right now. I know he's having a hard time because he lost his job, but I am mad at him for doing this to me.

My question is: Am I right on being angry? How can I move past this? I had a 13 hour day from work/school and I can't sleep because I have a horrible headache. I want some peace tonight and I don't have anyone that I can confide in right now.

  • Car Insurance Claim- Word Vs. Word Denied?

So a car hit me while I parked a while back. I filed a claim with my insurance and their insurance, my car was inspected, and the other insurance claimed that it was a word vs. word claim so it was denied. How can I be at fault when I was parked? Is there anything I can do?

  • Car Smog Check? Help?

So I live in California. I went to a mechanic about 2 years ago: my father told him that he wanted a dealer catalyst to pass the smog check... the legit way. The mechanic agreed to install it for almost $800 with the part. I went to the smog check and it still failed. My father called the mechanic to complain. The mechanic told my father, "you wanted it to pass the smog check right?" My father said "No, I wanted a dealer part." Now that 2 years have passed, my car failed the smog check again! I think my mechanic committed fraud and installed a crappy part. Can I still sue? I mean how else can I tell if the part is real or not. When he installed it, he took it out of a dealer box, but I know fraud can still occur. Can I still hold him liable or am I screwed and need to pay $1000 for a new catalyst again? Help!

  • IRS? Dependent Filing?

My husband's family is claiming him as a dependent regardless that we married last year. What are the consequences for him given that we are filing jointly due to educational expenditures?

  • IRS? Taxes? Married? Dependent?

My husband and I married on Nov 27, 2010. I was a half-time student with loans that I did pay for 6 months. As a result, I have educational expenditures. I have noticed that I cannot file for educational expenditures if I file separately rather than jointly. As a result, my question is since my husband lived with his family prior to November, can his father file for him as a dependent? I want to be able to file for my educational expenditures, which is why I am asking.

  • Birth Control- Spotting!?

I have been on birth control for 9 months. Ever since I took birth control, my periods have been very regular. Normally when I take the first pill from ever packet, my period stops. This time was different though. I took the pill yesterday and I still had some spotting today. I take my pills on time, so I highly doubt I'm pregnant. Is it normal for light spotting to occur a day after you take the pill. I just took the 2nd one and I hope it stops. HELP PLEASE!

  • Police corruption: To report or not report?

I saw a cop litter, but he didn't see me. I reported it. I was asked for my name and telephone # in order to process the report. At first, I was proud for reporting this activity, but now people are making me paranoid. They keep telling me, "that cop can find you and locate you," or "don't expect to get away with tickets now." I mean are they really going to be on me now? It's not like littering is a big crime; people are committing felonies, which of course is more important. It's just, I know people who have littered, paid lots of money for the ticket and done community service. It's just not fair, you know. I follow most rules so it's not like I have anything in particular to worry about, but now I'm paranoid.

As a matter of fact, I doubt they even took my report seriously. But still should I be worried about anything? Can they really track me down? The cop I reported?

PS- I do not live in the city where I reported this activity.

  • Can someone in medical field, please help me? MENSTRUAL CYCLE QUESTION?

    I'm a 23-year-old female.

Okay, so I've always had very normal periods: usually lasting no more than 5 days and not very heavy; recently, however, I've had horrible periods with lots of pain. By pain, I mean leg cramps, abdominal pain, and very heavy periods (sometimes with small and a couple of large blood clots, the size of quarters). I've had an ultrasound, urine/blood tests, and they have concluded everything to be normal. I don't have a UTI, I'm not pregnant (not to mention, I'm not/never been sexually active), or anemic. All the doctors have tried w/ me so far is making me take medication for a UTI (which I don't think that I ever had) and about 3 days ago, they have told me to take 2-3 iron pills per day (which I have been doing)

What the hell is wrong with me? I am very worried. I have an OB-GYN appointment in 2 days, but I was wondering if I could get more information about what this could be?
