I am 5'6 and weigh 11 stone 7lbs. I have been trying to lose weight for about 4 months now. I do 15 mins of stomach exercises (sit ups, crunches, etc) every morning and an hours cardio in evenings. I usually do an aerobics dvd but sometimes go for a jog or run on treadmill. I eat a maximum of 1200 calories a day.... Porridge or boiled eggs for breakfast, chicken or tuna wrap, baked potato or soup for lunch and meat or fish with potato or rice for dinner. I dont really snack but if i do its fruit or rice cakes. Im drinking 2l of water every day. So far i have lost 2lbs........ IN 4 MONTHS!!!! I know i have toned up and i can feel my stomach muscles but still have alot of fat on top on them. Im really getting frustrated with it and dont know what im doing wrong.

Should i visit my gp about it?

I am going out with my fiancé tonight to meet some of his relatives from America. Neither of us have ever met these people do I want to make a good impression. Alot of my fiancés other family will be there too. As far as I know we are just going to a local pub. Should I go casual in jeans? Dressy in a skirt? Or go all out and wear a dress??

Iv always had cats growing up and couldn wait to get my own as soon as i moved into my own home. My fiance on the other hand was brought up in a home that hated cats and wont let me get one. I genuinely feel there is somethin missin in my life without a cat to curl up on my knee in the evening. Our 2 children absolutely love cats too and are constantly asking can we get one. My dilemna is should i just go against his wishes and get one or i should forever live with this feeling of something missing???

She is very obedient and was easily house trained and leash trained. She knows not to play rough with our children (3 and 1). Generally she is an extremely well behaved puppy but she keeps biting myself and my partner. Shes not bein vicious, its just a playful thing and harmless at the moment but i just cant get her to stop doin it. I worry that she might start doin it to the kids and when her adult teeth come through it might cause damage. If she sees fingers or toes wigglin she wants to bite them. When im tryin to put her leash on she tries to bite my hand. Does anybody av an tips on how to stop her doin this?

My Godson is turning 1 at the wkend and i dont know what to buy him. i dont want to go with the usual toys or clothes as he will get somany of those. As his Godmother i feel like i should get him some kind of keepsake. Any ideas???

I am 22 and av been wit my boyfriend for 4 yrs. We av 2 children (both unplanned). At the beginning of our relationship i was infatuated with him and pushed all my friends aside. I fell pregnant after 6months together and he got promoted at the same time. His job requires him to work long hours (6day weeks, 14 hour days) Durin my pregnancy i felt depressed and lonely. WE grew apart and i left him. He came cryin to me sayin things would change so i came bk. We moved and i went bk to work. He became very jealous and accusin me of cheatin. I wasnt allowed to socialize with any1. Not even my family.he didnt like me goin to stay with my mother. I was savin to leave him when i fell pregnant again.I had a difficult pregnancy and had to leave work. He never helped me throughout my pregnancy or had any involment in it. He came with me to the hospital when i was induced and made calls to work throughout the labour or read the paper. Asd soon as the baby was born he went to work. There were some complications and i had to stay in hospital longer than expected. He would come for an hour a day and my daughter was passed to different family members as he wouldn mind her. My son is 6 months old now and he has barely spent a day with us. The only person i am allowed to see is his bosses wife or his mother. I try to see my family but it causes arguments. We very rarely speak to eachother and i feel like i am livin wit a stranger.

I know that i dont love him anymore but i still love the person i fell in love with and every now and then i get that person. I am unemployed and am not entitled to social welfare while im wit him. He is very well paid and fully supports me financially and i want for nothing.

I want to leave him and have a happy life but im scared to be on my own wit 2 children. Also i worry about him if i did leave. He has nobody.His job is his life.

I feel completely trapped and dont know what to do

Im 21 and slightly overweight. 5'6 and 159lbs. I am satrting to do regular exercise and follow a healthy diet but my big problem is i dont like veg!! Every weightloss plan revolves around eating veg. Does any body av any recommendations for me?

I used to av a really high metabolism and be able to eat what i wanted but since avin my 2 children i gain weight just by smellin a biscuit!!

She is 2 next week and for past few weeks hates being in a wet or dirty nappy. She always tells me before she does a poo and most of the time when she does a wee. I bought her a potty 2weeks ago and put in the downstairs toilet. I told her if she needs to go wee or poo to do it in the potty. Straight away she went in and did a wee.

After that she just kept going on the floor. I thought she might be forgetting bout the potty so i moved it into her play room where she spends her day but she just started using it as a stool and hiding things in it but still going toilet on the floor.

I decided to leave the training and try again. I bought her a new potty. Just a plain potty so it wouldn't be confused wit a toy and started again on fri. She still refuses to go toilet on the potty and roars crying if i try to sit her on it. She nearly always takes off her nappy just before she does wee or poo but always does it on the floor. How can i encourage her to use the potty?

In our house dad always cooks a xmas fry.

Mine was a hunchback of Notre Dame teddy i got for my 6th birthday. He can wear a crown and cloak to be a king or just look like a peasant.

I have microsoft office and am job hunting. Everytime i send my cv as an attachment in an email i get replies saying they cant open my cv and can i send it in a different format.

At the moment i have to copy and paste it into emails.

What format do i save it as for everyone to be able to open it?

I recently moved house. Its a fairly old house and i think its haunted.

Our first week here my partner had to stay away over night and i was here on my own. I felt completely safe and not scared at all but i felt like there someone was here with me all night.

Since then iv heard foot steps up stairsand a mans voice when theres been nobody else home and feel like im never alone. But in a nice way.

The night before last i slept in my daughters room as she wouldn sleep and in the morning my partner was really quiet and left early or work. He said he didn sleep at all.

Later on he told me that he could hear banging and foot steps all night in his room. He said he put it down to pipes or next door but then he felt someone push him hard.

He said he didn hear anything after that for ages but then the bed moved. He said it was like someone had pushed the bed with their foot.

Could he have been imagining all this?

I have a job interview tomorrow. Its for a receptionist job.

I am 20 and have never really worked. I had a part time job in a supermarket when i was 16 and stayed there for 2 and a half years. I finished school just before my final exams and started woking there full time for 6 months. I left when i found out i was pregnant and went to study childcare. I had to finish that course a month before the final exams due to my baby being born.

My daughter is now 10 months old and my benefits are going to be stopped in 3 weeks time so im desperate to get back to work and have applied for everything i see. This is the only place that has given me a interview and im worried they will think im just a drop out.

Although i have no receptionist experience i used most of the skills in my other job such as customer complaints, answering phones, taking down messages and i also have an equal skills computer training cert.

Can anyone give me any advice on ho to win them over.

I need this job!!

She started sleeping through the night at 7weeks. But she slept in our bed, refused to go in a cot and i had to feed her till she went to sleep.

At about 5 months we decided enough was enough, she was too big to be in our bed and put her into her cot. I was still brestfeeding at this stage so we had one side of the cot down so i could still feed her from the bed. She started waking at least 3 times a night for a feed.

At 9 months she was completely off the breast, the 2 sides of her cot were up and she was only waking twice a night. I would just give her a bottle and she would go straight back to sleep.

3 weeks ago we moved house and decided to put her into her room as we thought everything would be strange for her so it was best to just do it all at once. New house, own room.

Now she is waking 2/3 times a night and wont take a bottle. she just roars crying until i put her to bed with me. Its got to a stage where im sleeping in her room and my partner in ours!

How can i stop this
