Clearly, in England, David and Victoria Beckham are a much bigger deal than in USA. For those of you who live in England, how do you feel about the couple's move to the USA, and exactly how big are they in England?

I've placed the Sims 2 on my lap top many, many times but lately when I've tried to play I get this message about DirectX:

Failed to find any Directx 9.oc compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have a directx 9.oc compatible graphics adapter and have installed the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer.

So then I looked up DirectX on Microsoft and tried to download another version of it and it says that it can't be done and that the application will close. I don't understand what's going on and why this has started all of a sudden when I've played it on my computer many times. Can anyone help me please!

My family and I are going to Gatlinburg this week, and my father and I are thinking about going to Ripley's Haunted House, but I want to know what it's like before I go. I don't want to spend money on something dumb. If you've been in, could you give me a general idea of what it's like inside, and why do you have to ride up in that big elevator shaft to get inside?? My favorite author is Emily Giffin, and I love her books "Something Borrowed" and "Something Blue". I also love the book "20 times a lady" and I'm looking for a good, funny book to read now...I don't like British novels, and I love my books to be funny, where the lead character has a major attitude....Can anyone recommend any books for me? I'm also wondering if anyone has read "Dedication" by the girls who wrote the Nanny Diaries...if so, is it any good?

I don't watch wrestling anymore, but I used to about five years ago, and I was watching a movie on USA when the commercial claiming that Vince McMahon was dead and showing his limo exploding. Because I used to be such a big fan, I had to check it out online, and when I realized it was all fake, I got so angry! I know wrestling is fake, believe me, and I know they have their storylines but isn't this in awful taste? Considering how many wrestlers have died in the ring and from physical injuries, I just think it's wrong to do this. They have little memorials for him all over the place with 2007 being the year of his death. That's just stupid. That's like asking to be killed now....I just think this is like playing with fire, and I think claiming someone is dead is a horrible way to get ratings.

It's driving me crazy. The first time I heard it was at a dance club and when we walked in, groups of people were doing an organized dance to it (Kinda like cha cha slide but different) and I'm pretty sure it's in the new McDonald's commercial where the people are skating around...does anyone know what I'm talking about? It sounds kinda techno, like voices have been changed?? If anyone knows the name of the song in the McDonald's commercial could you let me know so I can look it up please? Thanks!

I'm getting ready to go on vacation, and was just looking at some reviews for hotel rooms and was surprised by how many hotels have horrible reviews about dirty rooms and bad service. Luckily, I've been going to the hotel I'm staying in for many years and I know I'm not in for this type of treatment, but what's the worst/dirties hotel room you've ever stayed in??

My friend and I were having this discusion the other day, and I'm just wondering if anyone can think of any teen celebrities that have gotten pregnant. I know most of them would have it covered up or taken care of, but surely in the history of Hollywood there's had to be some unexpected pregnancies. We were trying to think of some teen celebs in this situation for a project a while ago, but changed our minds. Now I'm curious, do any of you know of anyone?

Hi, everyone, I'm a nanny for two little girls (ages 3 and 2) and I have been for about a year. Recently (just within the past couple weeks) the older child has started to get really whiny. She cries because she wants her mom, cries when I touch anything belonging to her mom, cries when I tell her no, cries when I ask her to stop crying, etc....Anyway, she's never been like this with me, we've always had a lot of fun together. I'm sure she misses her mom when she's not around, but is there anything I can do to get her to stop whining so much and crying over every little thing? Her tantrums are long and tiring and her little sister always tries to help, but she doesn't understand why she's so upset. We have fun together and she's used to me, I just don't know why she's getting so whiny lately. I have talked to her about it nicely, and when she's started her tantrums I try to ignore her until she stops whining but I don't know what else to do! Help please!

Who else hates this show? It is the stupidest freaking television show ever made, all the actors are stupid, there's no plot, and why won't they just admit that Neil Patrick Harris is gay and he cannot play a convincing straight man? I was forced to watch the show once and it was the worst 30 minutes of my life.

The movie Unbreakable, with Bruce Willis, it's on right now, and I remember watching it once and there was a great twist at the end, but I can't watch it right now and the end is driving me crazy. Could someone please tell me how it ends, including what Elijah tells David and what the big twist is? I can't remember at all. Thanks!

I know it's an old movie, but it was on TV tonight and I'm not really sure why everything that seems to be significant is red; the balloon, the doorknob, the tent, the blankets, it's like a highlight throughout the movie. Does anyone have any idea why the movie does that? Thanks.
