  • My motherboard has slots for DDR2 and DDR3 ram. Can I have sticks of both at the same time?

I have the Gigabyte GA -P35C-DS3R motherboard that has DDR2 and 3 slots. If I put 4 gigs of DDR2 in and 4 gigs of DDR3 in, will my computer recognize both types and use them properly?

  • Ever seen officiating so bad?

As last night? The league should just go ahead and say it wants the Flyers to lose. The officiating has been horrible all year. And its horrible in the NY/Pitt series too. They just want Crysby to go as far as possible, and they want the habs to go far too, so that a canadian team can do well. Without the refs, the habs would be looking at getting swept tomorrow night.

  • Do 1099 contractors get drug tested?

Does anyone know how often an employer will drug test a 1099 person, as opposed to a W2 person? I assume 1099 typically don't get tested since they aren't getting any benefits or anything. What has been the typical experience of 1099 contractors out there?

  • Invisible Dog Fence experiences?

My wife and I are thinking about an invisible fence in our yard. Growing up, I can remember a couple instances of neighbors having them, and that the dogs would eventually get used to it and run through them since the shock is not consistent once you leave the fence area. That was many years ago, and I was hoping they have made advances. Can anyone share experiences with those types of fences? Thanks.

  • Cleaning Sunroof drain tubes?

May car got flooded on the drivers side after a hard rain the other week. I was reading online and it appears that sunroof drain tubes can get clogged and cause this. Has anyone had that happen? Has anyone ever cleaned them out and had that fix the problem? How did you clean them?

    Thanks.

  • Center Channel Speaker issue?

    Here is the problem.

I am watching a DVD that has 5.1 Dolby Digital. I get sound out of front and rear speakers and the subwoofer. However, nothing comes out of my center channel speaker. Now, when I run the little test program on my reciever, it makes the proper noise in the center channel speaker. So clearly the speaker is fine and its connection to the receiver is fine. So I feel there is something wrong with either the way the DVD players is sending out the center channel signal, or there is something wrong with the way the receiver is receiving that signal from the DVD player. Anyone have this before, or have any thoughts?
