Today (25Feb06, around 4 - 4:40 EST) I am having many problems with YA?
Sometimes it won't let me answer, just says Oops there is an unspecificed problem. After I vote the page doesn't update to show the number of votes.
Is anyone else having this problem?
2 AnswersYahoo Answers2 decades agoHow do you spell OK?
And its not quite as dumb a question as it sounds. There are several correct ways to spell OK, and I find that I don't spell it consistently. I will generally use: okay or Ok, and ocassionally OK. And then there is also O.K., and a variant I have never seen in actual use: okeh.
So what is your way to spell OK?
34 AnswersWords & Wordplay2 decades agoThe 5 Essential Web Sites?
The Onion AV club has listed what it calls the “5 essential web sites.”
see: http://www.avclub.com/content/node/45698
What do you think?
1. Television Without Pity (televisionwithoutpity.com)
Complete episode recaps are available for dozens of shows, and they're often interspersed with delightfully snarky commentary.
2. Celebrity Nudity Database (cndb.com)
There's an ever-changing list of the most popular nude or sorta-nude celebs.
3. All Music Guide (allmusic.com)
amazing in its depth, with complete track listings and discographies for a staggering number of albums.
4. Internet Movie Database (imdb.com)
Knows it all about almost any movie you can name, from Baby Face (you want the 1933 classic or the 1962 made-for-TV short?) to Star Wars.
5. Wikipedia (wikipedia.org)
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia that relies on Joe Q. Public for its entries. This is both good and bad.

3 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships2 decades agoWhy not add a way to sort your answered questions by category?
After awhile, once you have answered a lot of questions it is very tedious do go through them looking for something specific (ya, I know you could search). Why not add the capability to sort them by category?
2 AnswersYahoo Answers2 decades agoWhy do people who ask sex questions not notice all the ***'s in their question?
Some of the missing words are obvious. But then there are some like "what kind of ****** is best to ********* when the ******* in November."
You have to look at the question before submitting it.
Is there any answer to this deep mystery?
3 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships2 decades agoWhy were B-17s only used in the European Theater of WWII?
I have always wondered why in WWII the B-17s were used in Europe, and the B-29s in the Pacific. Many other aircraft were used in both - P47 for one.
Especially since the big B-29 raids didn't start until 1945, why weren't some B-17s pulled over from Europe?
So whats the deal?
1 AnswerHistory2 decades agoIt is very, very late where I am ... why am I still up doing this?
I am now in a zombie mode flipping through questions. Why don't I just crawl off the sleep... what is my problem... (keep your answers clean!)
9 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships2 decades agoIf you're left handed - how left handed are you?
Not a riddle. I write with my left hand, but if I were to throw a baseball or throw a punch (I don't do either much anymore) I would use my right hand.
3 AnswersGeneral Health Care2 decades agoNumbers 35:11-27 and potential trouble for Dick Cheny!?
Numbers 35:11-27 is another one of those Biblical laws that seems, well, a tad outdated. But then I'm an atheist.
How do those who take the Bible as the literal word of god think about these commands?
See the whole passage played out in Lego here:
2 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoDeuteronomy 21:18 to 21:20 -- just curious what biblical literalists think?
The story told in these verses is shown very nicely here:

The moral: kids who are trouble should be stoned
If you take the Bible as the literal word of God, then should be start passing laws for the stoning of trouble making teens?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality2 decades agoMy big regrets...?
Four years ago I had surgery to remove a tumor at the base of the brain. They got the tumor, but it destroyed the Pituitary gland. So I have to take a lot of hormones and medications to make up for what the pituitary did.
That should be okay, but I am becoming increasingly tired and apathetic. May of the non-work things I'd like to do just seem to take too much effort:
http://www.geocities.com/anteriorlobe/sitemap.htm
My regret is that we didn't check some of the symptoms before the surgery, like massive headaches, more carefully. We went to a good doctor and it seemed like they were from stress - I was in a stressful job. The chance of a tumor was very low...though, for me, not low enough.
And, I'm not sure this is a regret, but i feel like some of the creative things I'd like to do just will never be done because I am so weak all the time.
Going to more doctors won't help, I have been poked, prodded, and stabbed, and doing about as well as I am ever going to.

3 AnswersYahoo Answers2 decades agoWhen will the United States no longer be a world power?
I don't mean this from an anti-American perspective.
All nations have their ups (and we, Americans, are certainly having one now) and their falls. Thats why I want to ask this question in History.
I can think of two scenarios, a rise to dominance by China (possible, but not inevitable), or a fall caused by internal US problems. Personally I think something internal will eventually get us.
What do you think?
11 AnswersHistory2 decades agoWhy are there a couple of "why is the sky blue?" questions every day?
