I took a break from Neopets earlier in the year. Now I'm back, but I see that the pound is still "down for maintenance". Does anyone have any idea about when it will reopen? I saw somewhere else that it was supposed to be open this year, but seeing as how there are only 9 days left in the year, I was just wondering if there was anymore news about it that I've missed.

That's probably a dumb question, but I have no idea how to do that. There are so many good shows and things that I Tivo on a regular basis, and I'm sure a lot of it would be of interest to others. Can someone tell me what exactly I'd need to get it from my Tivo to youtube?

Our Tivo cut off the last few minutes of the show and my son is now freaking out. Does anyone know who won?

I use liquid fabric softener in the wash and don't mind the roughness/stiffness sometimes but I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to make the clothes a bit softer. I know that some people tumble them in the dryer for a couple of minutes after they're done drying on the line but I want to avoid doing that. Is there a certain type of fabric softener that works better? Or is there some "home remedy" that you've found over the years or had passed down by your mothers?

I made one video private and at the time I did it, they gave me the option to invite friends and family. I didn't want to do it at that moment but now that I do want to invite someone, I can't find a way to do so. Can someone help me out? I don't want to have to put that particular video on public in order for my friend to see it.

Is there a site that tells when seat belt laws went into effect in each state? Or can you tell me when California's seat belt law began? I found out this morning that all states except NH have laws regarding seat belts, but I was also wondering how long we've had to buckle up here.

I remember not having to wear them at all when I was a kid. I think I also remember that when the laws first started only those in the front had to wear one...I think.

I know how to change my settings, name, nickname, etc., however, for a few months now I've had problems changing my display name. When it finally does let me change it, it then takes a while (days, weeks, a month) to be able to change it back or to something else. I changed it again yesterday and now I can't change it to something else. This is really getting frustrating. Where can I write to complain about what's going on?

For any current Napster users, on the homepage it says "listen to and d/l an unlimited amount of music". I know that after the free trial there is a monthly fee to use their service but I'm wondering whether or not there is a fee per download? If so, what is the average price per mp3? Or do you just pay the monthly fee and the rest is free? I'd like to d/l music for my iPod but I'd probably be d/l'ing a whole lot, so I need to know what exactly you pay for with Napster. Plus, does anyone have any suggestions for similar sites if that one isn't too good?

If so, I was wondering if you could tell me whether or not obtaining more than one blog is possible. For instance, over on blogspot, you can have multiple blogs attached to the same account. You can make as many public or private as you'd like. I'm wondering if WordPress has something similar?

My bro-in-law has 2 kids w/an ex-wife.He also has one w/an ex-gf. He recently asked the court to lower his child support 'cause the job he has after coming back from Iraq pays less than what he was getting in the military, and his ex-wife makes more than him. When he petitioned for lower CS it apparently encompasses all 3 kids. His ex-gf is mad because she thinks she'll get less $, which isn't true since she gets welfare.As a result, she is now w/holding visitation. He hasn't been able to see his daughter in about a month. He doesn't have extra $ to hire a lawyer, so I'm wondering what resources are out there for him. He's normally a very strong person but when that subject came up he walked out 'cause he was starting to cry. She's basically using this as leverage because she can't have him back. Any ideas for his options that won't cost too much since he doesn't have much as it is? He's NOT trying to get out of paying, just lower it some.(BTW, we're in Cali if that makes a difference)

My mom heard a song she wanted to find the name too on the ER episode titled "On the Beach" when Dr. Mark Greene dies. She doesn't know the title of it but I told her I'd try to find it. I looked on IMDB and a couple of other sites but couldn't find where the list of songs for that episode is. I looked up the episode where he dies and as far as I could tell it was titled "On the Beach". Any help would be great.

If you were to hear on the news that we have 140,000 troops in Iraq , does that mean 140,000 individual men and women? Or does one troop have a certain amount assigned to each troop?

Did anyone else have problems hearing parts of her, ummm, "singing"?

We have 3 cats that are "squatters" in our garage. They all had babies a few weeks ago. A couple of the kittens died and my husband buried them. The other day I was outside and saw another one died. I was going to wait until he came home for lunch to have him take it out. A little while later I went out again and found the cat eating it. I originally thought it was a mouse until I saw the fur. Yesterday they moved the cats to a spot where I can't keep an eye on them. I went outside this morning and found a mom eating another baby. Just a little while ago, it was happening again. I can't get to the babies and I know the moms were feeding and caring for them just fine for a while. I don't know if the last 2 eaten were dead. I'm assuming they were. I hope they were! What in the world would cause this to happen whether it was dead or alive??

I haven't answered many questions lately because I've been spending loads of time at another site. I've also not rated ANY questions in the past couple of days. I just went to rate one and it said I had reached my daily limit for rating answers. How can that happen? Is anyone else experiencing that, or is it just me? Is it a glitch? Geez! That's frustrating.

A friend of mine is putting together a video collection/montage for a friend of ours. She's just starting on a huge and exciting journey. She's 19 yrs old and has overcome many things in her past and her future is looking extremely bright. We're looking for a perfect background song to put to the video.

Any suggestions? I had thought of "Forever Young" but I'd like to get some other ideas.

I tend to like questions in Parenting and Pregnancy probably because I have 5 kids and quite a bit of experience. However, I find that I usually end up getting sidetracked while looking up people's profiles and seeing the questions they've asked or answered. So, which ones do you guys like? and why? It's an easy 2 pts for you and it'll be interesting to find out where people's preferences lie.
