Just wondering if you've got your tickets yet? I know Ticketmaster say not to worry unless you haven't received your tickets until a week before the event, but they aren't usually as slow as this!

I have worked for my present employer for four years, full time. However I recently stopped working full time hours as I have started another job, but I continue to work part time. In this week's pay packet I notice that my rate of pay has been cut by 16½%. I was not informed that this would be happening, so is the pay cut legal?

I know very little about walkie-talkies, but it must be a two-way. I will be using it at either 81.575 MHz FM or 169.3375 MHz FM, so it must be able to receive both of these frequencies. Ideally I would like one that has an LCD screen for displaying the frequency, so I don't need to play around with the frequency-knob until I find it.

The 18-race season is to start in Melbourne, contrary to recent reports. (The race will start at the later time of 5:30am GMT to accommodate European viewers). No San Marino GP unfortunately - or a USA GP - but it looks like Magny Cours is back, as well as two new street circuits in Singapore and Valencia.

I'm not bad at online poker, but when it comes to playing in real life, my opponents can read me like a book. For some reason or other, I can't help grinning when I'm dealt a good hand or when I'm making a bluff - I never have this problem at the computer mind you, just when six pairs of eyes are watching me!!

...I'm going to buy a few hens to provide fresh eggs every morning!! But is it necessary to buy a rooster to go with the three hens, or will the hens be content without one? I've heard conflicting opinions on this, someone said that hens will happily lay without a rooster; but another friend said that hens tend to get stressed without a rooster "guarding" them and leading them to roost at night.

Any thoughts?

Could someone explain why the pot is sometimes split into side pots? I've noticed it a few times while playing on partpoker.com (For example, at the end of a hand the dealer might say "John receives $30 from Side Pot #1, Frank receives $70 from the Main Pot")

I installed Freeview at home today, and the picture quality is fantastic. But for some reason, eight channels are missing (including Sky News & Sky Sports News - two of the channels that made me decide to buy the set)... any ideas?

I drive a year 2000 BMW 3-series (specifically a BMW 316i SE 1.9L E46 Petrol) and the catalytic converter needs to be replaced. The acceleration is dead and the revs max out at 4,000rpm. The garage has quoted me £760 (inc VAT) to fit one, is that stupidly expensive or am I just going to have to cough up the money?

I have/had a girlfriend for quite a few months, and I always knew that her father hated my guts. She didn't think he hated me, but agreed that I'm not his favourite person. Yesterday I challenged him about this, and we ended up having a row... and then I ended up punching him. Now my girlfriend won't talk to me!! Have I screwed up big time or will she get over it?
