More specifically, if I have a signed contract in NY, is that all I will need to make an offer? Will I need a mortgage committment from the people that are buying my house to show to the people in NJ or is an executed contract sufficient?

Not sure if it makes sense in the question field but here it is. I received an offer on my house and the contract was not yet signed. My realtor decided to bring more people to show my house since no contract was signed and I presume that the realtor told these people what offer I accepted. I don't think that they should be allowed to reveal what offer I have accepted since it ruins the negotiating on my end. If my house was on the market for 475,000 and I accepted an offer of 455,000, I think if the realtor told them that and somebody offers 456,000, it ruins any negotiating I may have trying to get a price closer to my original asking price because the new people already know that I accepted 455,000. Is this ethical on the part of the realtor?

this has been driving me crazy for a while! when i was little (which was about 10 years ago) i used to watch this movie or tv special on vhs all the time. it had something to do with a boy and a girl, a birthday party, and their stuffed animals coming to life. i'm pretty sure they also went to some other land and sang a lot. sorry for the lack of a better description, but i really can't remember a lot of it.

Looking for Caribbean cruise and the prices are very expensive now with little or no deals.

I ask this because I know you need a few days after the initial 10 days to get your body back to eating normally again. I am going on a cruise in 12 days so how will I be able to do both? Should I end before 10 days? Is the post diet routine that important? Please let me know.

Considering I was down 25% last year and 15% this year so far, I think my best option would be to stop contributing and use that money not invested to pay down bills. If and when the market recovers between 8000 and 8500 that is when I will contribute again. Is this a good strategy or am I missing a key benefit to continue to invest?

I hate dealing with all realtors. I believe they are the scum of the earth. With that being said, do you think if extra money was offered to them, would they foucs more on my house than other listings? I am looking to put my house on the market in a few months with the intention to sell it by the summertime. I am thinking about adding a 1% bonus to the pie if the house gets sold in a month.

I received a ticket for expired meter which is accurate but at the time the ticket was written, I went into the front seat of my car and waited until the agent was done writing the ticket. When he was finished, he came over to the window and handed me the ticket. Now for the question without any wise a** response. Is this defective because as the ticket states, Name of Operator, if present was not filled in.

My 5 yr adjustable is up March 09 and the 1 yr ARM resets Dec 20 which is going to be around 3.3%. There are no fees incurred if I rollover to a one year ARM compared to $4000 in closing costs if I were to refinance to a 15 year note. The max the 1 yr ARM can go to next year is 2 points higher. Does the mortgage rates appear to be heading much higher over the next year? I don't think so but was wondering what everyone else is thinking.

For those that need clarification on a hit pool, it is a 13-run pool. Each player will be randomly assigned a Major League Baseball team. The goal is for your team to score all the runs between 0 and 13 inclusive. The first person whose team scores all 14 runs wins the pool.

I am aware that there is a small amount of internal memory in these frames but I am looking for something with a large memory. It defeats the purpose of having a digital frame if you have to keep swapping out the memory stick from the frame to the camera.
