  • Recommendations for good tasting (preferably spicy) low salt chips?

    I would like to lower the amount of salt in my diet.  Does anyone have recommendations for low salt chips that have some good flavor?  Most of the low salt chips I see in stores are usually just plain tortilla chips.

  • NBA draft prospect you were totally wrong about?

    What NBA draft prospect were you 100% sure was going to be a star and ended up being a bust?  For me, it was Derrick Williams (#2 pick in 2011).  I will always remember that game in the Sweet 16 where he annihilated a STACKED #1 Duke team with 32 pts, 13 reb.  He was dropping deeeep 3's and throwing down highlight dunks.  I can't believe his skills never translated to the NBA...

  • HELP, Calculate Standard Reduction Potential?

    Using the following data

    1. Cu^3+ + 2e^- -----> Cu^+ : E1 = 1.28 V

    2. Cu^2+ + e^- -----> Cu^+ : E2 = 0.15 V

    3. Cu^2+ + 2e^- -----> Cu (s) : E3 = 0.34 V

    4. Cu^+ + e^- -----> Cu (s) : E4 = 0.52 V

    calculate the standard reduction potential (V) for the reaction of Cu(III) to Cu(II).

  • Calculate Ka for an acid?

    Enough of a monoprotic acid is dissolved in water to produce a 0.0195 M solution. The pH of the resulting solution is 6.24. Calculate the Ka for the acid.

    Also, the answer is not 1.7 * 10 ^ -11

    The response is: You treated the initial concentration as 0. In this case, the initial 10^-7 M H+ from water is not negligible. If [H+]initial = 10 ^ -7 and [H+]final = 5.8 * 10^-7, by how much did the concentration change? What does that say about how much A- was produced?

  • Physics Refraction Question Please Help?

    A slab of glass is surrounded by air on all sides. A light ray propagating in the glass strikes one of the surfaces of the glass at an incident angle of 55.0 degrees. None of this light is refracted into the air.

    What can you conclude about the index of refraction of the glass?

    A. it is less than or equal to 1/(sin 55.0 )

    B. it is greater than or equal to sin 55.0

    C. it is less than or equal to sin 55.0

    D. it is greater than or equal to 1/(sin 55.0)

  • Start Kolb or Brees week 1?

    Brees is playing the Packers and Kolb is playing the Panthers. Normally, I would start Brees every week, but Kolb is playing the Panthers, with cam newton who is going to struggle, so I see a Cardinals blowout in that game. Should I take a risk starting kolb or stay safe with brees??

  • Tamba bay Bucs now overrated?

    Everyone is saying the bucs are soo underrated and are going to do so well with freeman and make the playoffs. Their division is the hardest in football and they have to play the colts, cowboys, packers, texans, bears, and lions. That's a ridiculously hard schedule. Aren't they overrated?

  • culpepper to 49ers good move?

    So harbaugh is bringing in culpepper for a workout. Alex smith has obviously not improved and kapernick looks very inexperienced. Culpepper seems like he might not be a bad option for the west coast offense. What do you think??

  • Differential Equations Question please help?

    a. If ar^2 + br + c = 0 has equal roots r sub1, show that

    L[e^rt] = a(e^rt)’’ + b(e^rt)’ + c = a(r - r sub1)^2 e^rt (i)

    b. Differentiate Eq. (i) with respect to r and interchange differentiation with respect to r and with respect to t, thus showing that

    (d/dr)L[e^rt ] = L[(d/dr) e^rt ] = L[te^rt ] = ate^rt (r - r sub1)^2 + 2ae^rt (r - r sub1) (ii)

    Since the right side of the Eq. (ii) is zero when r = r sub1 conclude that t*exp(r1t) is also a solution of L[y]=0

    Thank you
