My African Violet has mold growing on top of the potting soil. Will it harm the plant and how do I get rid of it? I water it when the topsoil is dry by placing it in a bowl of water with African violet food so it only gets watered from the bottom. What am I doing wrong or is it the potting soil? The potting soil I used is specifically for African violets. Please help.

Since she's come out of her shed, she comes out every day all day when her lights are on. When I turn her lights off she goes into her box.

Building a snake cage with one ultraviolet bulb, one florescent and one infrared. Will she be able to see the ultraviolet at night if it's left on?

I have one heat lamp over my snakes tank. I'm just wondering if she can see the red light when it's on.

I was having a problem with her eating. She completed her shed in Dec and then wouldn't eat. She finally ate 2 weeks ago and retreated to her box. She came out once for a drink and went back in her box. Now her eyes are blue again and her skin has a dull sheen.

It's been 2 months since she's eaten. She's been in and out of her shed and I've tried every week to feed her. She has been nose to nose with the rat and will pull away and then ignore it. She doesn't seem to be losing any weight and is very active. The heat in the tank is 80 to 84 during the day and 74 to 78 at night. Oh and she's a ball python
