  • Why do carpool lanes exist?

I understand the purpose of carpooling, it saves money and fuel by getting more than one person to a destination. What I don’t understand is why a car with more than one person gets their own special lane. However I do understand bus lanes. Buses carry very many people and they’re so big so they need a lane entirely to themselves for safety and efficiency. Same thing goes for motorcycles, for safety. In my opinion, carpoolers aren’t any more special than single travelers. They don’t deserve their own special low traffic lane... carpool lanes should be for motorcycles and buses....  not sedans and SUVs full of Karens and snotty nose brats....

  • F1 2020 or NASCAR Heat 5?

To me it seems like F1 games require much more skill and precision driving to advance to and stay in 1st place, the tracks have sudden zips and turns and are flat. NASCAR is more about the speed of your car, it’s much easier to drive since you only turn one direction and the track is slanted in that direction. Which is more fun? Should I get one or both? Which is more popular in real life? Formula One has a worldly following but the US to NASCAR is like soccer to the rest of the world.... thanks for answers!!

  • Are there any exceptionally conservative cities in Maine?

Maine is the only State east of my home State (Oklahoma) that I’m interested in moving to. The other States are Colorado and Idaho. Idaho is pretty much entirely conservative. Colorado has a large area of many conservative cities. I’ve done my research on those two but I’m having trouble finding info on conservative areas for Maine. It’s kind of weird since a lot of people move there to retire. The majority of retirees are conservative to my knowledge. I want to live there for the seafood and beauty of the East Coast.

  • Colorado, Idaho, Montana, or Wyoming?

These are four states I’m looking at moving to. I am conservative, and before you say it, if I choose Colorado I will be moving to the most conservative city of Colorado Springs. Give me your thoughts on those four states, especially if you’ve been to/lived in each. Thank you!!

  • Which States don’t get super hot in summer, mainly July and August ?

I live in Oklahoma..... pretty much all of the southern states are in what’s called the Sun Belt.... how far do I have to move if I want to live with cool summers? I can handle very cold winters but go ahead and throw in mild winters as well.... I’ve taken looks at Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Idaho, Wisconsin, and Alaska. Although I think I’m gonna drop Wisconsin and Montana....

  • Attachment image

Which way is correct to vertically hang a Canadian flag?

The stem points left and the leaf points right as the picture shows? Or is it the opposite? I’ve heard it’s the opposite but it seems so off to me.... then again I’m not Canadian. I do plan on being Canadian, I’m immigrating.

  • I have a question about my PS4 memory ?

So we all know the PS5 will be coming out soon. I want to get the Digital Edition, the one without the disc drive. I’m concerned that if I get the Digital Edition, meaning I can’t use discs, that I will lose add-one I got from the disc. Now I know that add-ons can show up in the library game menu, and I believe hard copy games cannot but that may be wrong, please inform. My main concern is my hard copy of Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition, it has two add-ons that really help out the game experience, well it’s the Ultimate Edition add-ons and the ore-order bonus because I pre-ordered it. I don’t really play any of my hard copy games anymore except for RDR 2, and I have no problem re-buying some of the hard copy games in digital versions I don’t play but still enjoy, like Alien Isolation. Thanks for any help!! I don’t have an issue with the regular disc version of the PS5, I just think the Digital Edition looks really cool.

  • What’s the difference between the TEF and the TCF for Canada immigration?

You can also answer the difference between IELTS and CELPIP if you please. It seems to me the difference between the language tests is one is proof that you speak the language fluently, like if I came from France to Canada, I would have to prove my French fluency. I’m more interested in the French tests and I’m pretty sure you only have to take one test of either French or English. The other test is for those who do not speak a language but have learned in during the immigration process and to prove they learned it.

  • Why is travel by train more expensive than travel by airline?

I’ve seen business class on a plane be cheaper than economy on a train. Is it just the higher demand of planes that makes them cheaper travel? Is it the hours the staff works? While planes have way more miles, that can cover farther miles in a quicker time than a train can cover shorter miles. I think that traveling by train is way better. There’s restaurant and bar cars, I believe trains are safer, the ride is much more scenic and beautiful, and sometimes the seats are much more comfortable. The ride is definitely more comfortable, no ears popping, no turbulence, you’re actually allowed to recline the seats no matter which class you’re in, etc.

  • What’s the difference for the IELTS and CELPIP language tests for Canada immigration? ?

There’s also two different French tests but I’m not interested in French as I won’t be moving anywhere near French people. Are the two tests designed for one who already speaks the language to see how well they speak it while the other one is designed for non-native speakers of the same language? Is the only difference that one is on paper while the other is online? Is one more difficult and better for Express Entry points?

  • I thought Permanent Residence (Canada) meant citizenship?

I just read this immigrant’s bio on how he immigrated to Canada from his home country in 2012. He said PR takes three years but he became a citizen in 2019, that’s seven years!! I also have another question. I know about Express Entry, AIPP, and provincial nominations. I know that each of those can go hand in hand. Just explain it all to me, the Canada immigration website has so many pages of information. It’s not that I have low reading skill, I just want the short version. Thank you for any answers!! I have plans to become eligible with the most points. Canada has been a dream of mine since my first memories.
