my fiance and i r trying to do nice things for each other. we've left each other love notes. he's given me roses and a shoulder rub. i've been more physically affectionate, etc. unfortunately, i work nights and he works days, so i need to come up with ways to show him i love him that don't involve being in the same place at the same time (like the love notes, roses, etc). i already know i can buy him stuff, but what else can i do that's free or cheap?

so i have a problem with dry, cracked, peeling lips. recently, i stopped licking them. i also stopped using blistex thinking it might be causing irritation. i put on chapstick at night before bed so it can sit there for 8 hours straight and i use it once or twice during the day. this seemed to work for about a week, and then today my lips are peeling again! what can i do about this?

i saw a man in a parking lot across the street from me today screaming and cussing at a woman. she was mainly just standing very still. i want to help people like her, but i don't know how. if i approach them, the man will probably just beat the woman later and scream at her about how she embarrassed him in public. but i don't wan to just do nothing; i want to help. so, what can i do?

the few times i have been told to stop asking so many questions, it was by filipinos (my boss and also classmates). so, is there some sort of taboo against questions, or is it a coincidence?

i just started taking paxil and i'm having some side-effects (well, some of it could be unrelated, i'm not sure). the most annoying is that i can't have an orgasm. i'm also experiencing nervousness and worsening depression, but only right after i take it. i feel better after a few hours. can these side effects diminish over time or is paxil just wrong for me. and don't tell me to ask my doctor. i can't get hold of him untill monday.

so this actually happened to me tonight. i was leaving denny's when a guy approached me. he said that he and his family (including small children) were staying in a hotel near by (which is, by the way, known for drugs and prostitution). the cops in mexico (i live a couple miles from the border) had taken all their money and they needed something to eat. he said that he lived about an hour away and worked in a tattoo shop. he wanted to borrow $20 which he could pay me back tomorrow. he would let me keep his ID as collateral and could hook me or friends up with tattoos. what would u do?

i'm looking at a stockman, a congress and a whittler. i tried to research the terms, but had little luck (search results included a redefining of "switchblade" by the U.S. congress. not helpful). so, which style of knife would be most versatile and practical for random daily use?

with all this talk about medical reform, i keep hearing people say that many of the uninsured can afford medical coverage, but choose not to pay for it.

2. i make $22k/yr. and am uninsured. is there coverage i could afford?

my uninsured motorist coverage covered a hit and run accident i was in. my car insurance cut me a check. i'd like to get my car fixed, but i'm broke right now and could really use the money for other things. if i cash the check and spend it on something other than my car, is it fraud? will i get in trouble?

i need to find a new job that pays $22,000/yr ($11.50/hr full-time). i've worked delivering pizzas for the last 4 yrs, making them for 1 yr. before that, i had very little work experience: retail, clerical, library aid. any ideas what pays that well with little or no experience or education?
