  • Question Only for Those Serious About Practice Astral Projection?

Last night I experienced the electrical vibration that precedes separation from the body, but as I was about to do it, all I could see (with my eyes still closed) shadowy silhouettes of more than one entity rapidly approaching me and getting closer to me than I was comfortable with. Does the fact that they appeared shadowy necessarily mean they're negative forces? Or is it possible they were angels or just other astral travelers that would have "come to light" in their true colors (white robes, orange and black baseball shirts, red and gold football jerseys, or what have you), had I completed the separation process and been able to see my surroundings more clearly? It also seemed as if one of these entities was getting ready to grab me the minute I came out of my body, so that freaked me out as well, and I ended up going back into my "house". Any thoughts?

  • Astral Projected, but Instead of my Room, I Flew Through a Brown Mirkiness. Why?

I expected to see my room, but found myself flying through a brown, mirky "sky" in which I couldn't see anything. I still felt the euphoria associated with astral flying, but the mirkiness kind of troubled me, since I'm new to this. Any reason or meaning to the "smog"?

  • Will I be billed just for going to the Workers Comp doctor after claim was denied?

I'm in California. Workers Comp denied my claim because they feel my injury goes back to a previously filed injury that I thought had healed 2 months earlier. I am scheduled to see the workers comp doctor at least one more time after this denial. Does this mean that I will be billed from here on in even just for going to follow-ups with the Workers Comp doctor?

  • Received settlement for an on the job injury from third party insurer. Do I have to pay back workers comp?

I reported this injury to workers comp as being on the job, but decided to go the route of seeing a chiropractor OUTSIDE the workers comp system, and did not receive any wage replacement or therapy paid for by workers comp. This was way back in 1997. Would I still be required to pay workers comp back the settlement amount? This is in California by the way.

  • I was fired by my company for an angry, but truthful email my spouse sent to my boss.?

I work, or worked, for Wamu. The background is that I as an assistant manager was left more often than not to do all the work while my manager took excessive time off (by this, I mean she would take off in the middle of the day, using sick pay, and/or schedule tons of vacation for herself while begrudging everyone else's desire to more freely use the vast amounts of vacation they built up/earned). In addition, the few times I used sick leave, she would call me up, brow-beat me, and even if I had the flu, would try to pressure me to come in. I recently began the transfer process to a different branch about 40 miles away. Due to Wamu becoming JPMorgan Chase, there were snafus, including them losing all the information I'd submitted and having my start date at the new branch moved back at least twice since they wouldn't accept me at the new location without the information. With the last delay, my new set of bosses were sympathetic and were willing to let me report to the new location since we'd by then already moved and had our daughter set up in her new school. However, my old branch manager (the self indulgent one) initially told me I technically "still work for me" even though she knew I'd have to deal with dropping my daughter off at school, then travel 40 miles away, then worry about who'd pick up my daughter at the 3pm let-out time when I didn't get off until 6 or later. I asked if I could just use some of my vacation time while I was waiting for the transfer to become a done deal and she obtussively said "no" with a "that's your problem" attitude(this just a week after giving me a "farewell dinner". After all this frustration, I was so stressed, my arm became numb and I began having chest pains, so fearing it might be a stroke or heart attack, my spouse brought me to the emergency room, where we stayed for about 4 hours. It turned out to be stress and pinched nerves, but we were there until one in the morning, so not only did this affect me, but my spouse as well, who had to call in sick to HIS place of work the next morning as well since we were up so late. He, having patiently seen similar scenarios with my former manager (the self indulgent one) countless times before and biting his tongue, could remain silent no longer, and sent an angry, but factual email (no name calling or swear words, just the facts) to that manager and pointed out her abuses. She in turn forwarded it to Human Resources. They used vague wording stating the letter, which I myself had not written, was "too much" or "went over the line". I was then terminated for an email I did not write. My only "crime" in this is that I silently agreed that the content was appropriate. I live in California and was under a "binding arbitration" agreement in which we as employees cannot sue Wamu/JPMorgan. However, we can personally sue a manager for abuse. With these facts in mind, what are my legal recourses?

  • In California, is your drivers license automatically suspended for an UNSERVED arrest warrant?

I'm speaking in the case of someone who was accused (via a police report filed by her complaining neighbor) , but the police apparently have chosen to put even the act of investigating it at the bottom of their list because of the smallness of it, and there may not even be an arrest warrant created as of yet. She (the person named in the police report as the offender) was already slated to move to another county in the same state (California) before the run-in with her neighbor took place. If the police obtain an arrest warrant but it remains UNSERVED, is this automatically reported to the DMV? Or does this apply only to people with "failure to appear" warrants?

  • I really need to find a realtor who does business in Hudspeth County Texas?

I tried contacting realtors as close as El Paso, but they don't seem to keep any databases on properties in Hudspeth. I need a realtor to run a comparable on a piece of land I own there. It has to be a realtor. And no...unlike another answerer suggested last time, accusing me of expecting a "the poor" realtor to travel "all that way", I don't "need an appraiser" instead that'll charge me a ton of money to travel all the way out there and survey the land. A simple internet search of comparables is all I need, but it has to have the letterhead of a licensed realtor on it. If anyone knows a realtor who's willing to run comparables on property in Hudspeth County, TX, please let me know. Thanks!

  • Anyone know realtors in Texas and New Mexico who provide info on comparable sales of unimproved vacant land?

We live in California but own vacant unimproved land in Texas and New Mexico. We're filing Chapter 13 Bankruptcy, but before our lawyer can file to protect us, one of the pieces of information he requires are comparable land sales in the same area that we own such property. This info has to come from a realtor. Anyone know of real estate companies in both Texas and New Mexico who deal with vacant land and provide such info? If it helps, our property in Texas lies in Hudspeth County, while the New Mexico property is in Valencia County.
